I don't think it will ever happen while his kid is at the PC. If anyone in the world knows how petty WWE can be.... Also Vince owns like literally his entire wrestling career... not that I think we'd see... THE SELF DESTRUCTION OF THE ROCK! (though I think it would be hilarious if they did that honestly >->) Hogan: He couldn't cut the mustard, brother that's why he ran off to become a massively successful Movie Star, dude. HHH: Dad... I keep telling you this is a really stupid idea... fine if I say Rock was unprofessional will you promise to stop taking NXT's main event and turning them into clowns? Jericho: ...Why am I here?

Yea, idk about that That dude is too busy to even appear on WWE. It would have to be right place and right time for Rock to appear like when WWE was in Brooklyn and he was filming I don't see him going out his way to do this just because he has no time to do so Well that’s why I said that it would be to hype a movie. I don’t much expect him to show up to wrestle or anything, but to hype up a movie, sure. If he was advertising a movie he’s go to WWE and do it around WM time. WWE has a bigger audience Only way he shows up is if like I said it’s off a whim and they are in town with him or he has a show on TNT

It would be incredibly stupid to piss off your biggest star ever and one of if not THE top guy in Hollywood by being petty This is the same company that opted not to renew his contract when he started getting more regular acting work to start with, though I’m guessing that’s because they thought the well would dry up and he would come crawling back.

Apples and Oranges tho They assumed he would flame out and most likely Rock wasn’t coming back anyway as he wanted to distance himself from wrestling and be taken serious Now is a whole different ball game

I mean Johnny Ace got a lot of heat from that I beleive because he cleared his entire schedule for a week to work on it allegedly...

Yea, there is no doubt some loyalty there. Add on that his daughter is there and there is loyalty from that standpoint of taking care of her at her young age and basically being her family Can Rock show up on AEW? Oh course. Will he? There is about 20% chance of that and only if circumstances allow it as stated earlier. The dude can’t show up for Mania, I doubt he can show up for AEW in the middle of South Carolina somewhere just off the strength of showing up

I could see him maybe going to a live event if its near him and staying in the back. If that happens I could def see him doing something on BTE maybe walking in the back with Colt.

I think BTE is way more likely then ever appearing live in arena. I think there’s still a level of loyalty to Vince that would keep Rocky from appearing on AEW proper. The exception being some pretaped thing where he’s like “Hey AEW fans, check out this exclusive trailer for my new movie!!”

I can't say I'm surprised. The Rock loves wrestling of all kinds and I remember him praising AEW back when they first did Double or Nothing.

Would Rock make an appearance? Sure, maybe, though it'd probably need to be a "I was like down the street, so hey" kind of thing. Being the Elite would maybe be more doable. It's not just his own career, but WWE having had a relationship with his family for decades. I don't think it will ever happen while his kid is at the PC. If anyone in the world knows how petty WWE can be.... It would be incredibly stupid to piss off your biggest star ever and one of if not THE top guy in Hollywood by being petty That, and I mean, Usos, Roman, Nia, it's not like they don't also have other family members in WWE with various amounts of pull.

The Rock is a guy who has always been falsely accused of pulling away from wrestling. He pulled away from Vince McMahon, not wrestling. He was on Twitter talking about some guy named Kevin Steen in like 2010. The Rock genuinely loves wrestling.
