It's been said that main eventers basically have to have egos to reach that level, they just either can temper it or fail to. So, it shouldn't be a surprise that so many wrestlers who are at the top of the card end up resenting one another, either from the word go or after a falling out.
So, with this, I am curious what main eventers actually LIKE each other.
Bruno detested Gorilla Monsoon for reasons I can't recall him ever getting into.
Dusty Rhodes and Ric Flair liked one another for a time, with Ric even looking up to him, but that turned into tension eventually, where the Horsemen basically blamed the business souring on Dusty Rhodes' booking of them. Of course, they then were left with business drying up further and dealing with a revolving door of management regimes they hated, so lot of good that did them.
Bret and Shawn may be the most infamous example, though I don't know that they ever liked one another.
Hogan and Andre did get along for the most part, but even with his exaggerations for drama, I think there was at least an element of truth to Hogan feeling that he was at the mercy of Andre's favor, and he had to stay in his good graces. Still, that is maybe the warmest relationship on this list thus far.
Of course, this might be cheating, but Pentagon Jr. and Rey Fenix would absolutely be considered top names in Mexico, and they get along great. They're brothers, but I mean, that doesn't necessarily mean a lack of tension should be a given. Still, they reputedly pretty much never have arguments with each other and don't seem to harbor any jealousy, probably because they are both allowed to shine.

The Rock and Stone Cold Steve Austin. They both elevated each other. You never heard them complain about each other during their runs and after their runs.
If the business had guys like this on top every decade, the business would be in better shape. Than the likes of politicians like HHH, HBK and Hulk Hogan.

They usually got along, but definitely not always. The "took your ball and went home" promo was definitely not exactly a warm hug. They would be in each other's good graces later, but not at that time. Similarly, Triple H and Foley generally got along, despite Foley being a Bret friend, but there was at least one time they definitely were at odds. Hunter had made some kind of asinine comment about no one helping him get over, probably directed more at Austin who supposedly had refused to do so in '99, but Mick pointed out that Foley had put Triple H over repeatedly, especially in early 2000. They seem to usually get along alright outside of that heated exchange.

Flair and Piper. Certainly Sting and Luger.

Flair and Piper. Certainly Sting and Luger. Sting is kind of a safe bet in general, he seemed to usually be a pretty easy person to get along with, outside of maybe the addiction nadir he had.

So long as they were main eventing, Hogan and Savage got along. They got along less well when Savage was under Hogan.

Bret and Austin. Any podcast they do together is just both of them putting the other guy over, and reminiscing about their classic matches. Granted, I don't know if this counts because Austin became main event when Bret was in his last year in WWF.
I'd wager that the Rock probably got along with almost everyone he worked with. Except maybe Triple H, it always seems like there was a tension between them. Maybe just a professional rivalry. Either way, it made their matches awesome.

Sting in TNA reminded me of Flanders when he's getting the tour of his rebuilt house, trying to be patient and polite in the face of train wreck after train wreck. Backstage at Victory Road was surely when he had his "AW, HELL-DIDDLY-DING-DONG-CRAP!!!!!!!!!!!! CAN'T YOU MORONS DO ANYTHING RIGHT??!?!?!?!?!" meltdown. Angle appears to have been well liked by most he worked with apart from HHH (I'm noticing a pattern) and that's a lot of people over two eras: Austin, Rock, Taker, Brock, Cena, Jericho, Eddie and then onto TNA to work with AJ, Joe and all the WCW alumni.

The Rock didn't like HHH, because the Kliq tried to bury him early on, especially when Shawn and HHH were on the booking team.

Also Steve basically admitted he couldn't stand The Rock at first because he was just a kid who was still learning the ropes and was annoying him because of how many questions he asked but that's pre main event The took your ball and go home stuff really didn't have much effect on the relationship anyway since Austin came back and Rock ended up being his last match and he wanted to put Rock over. Also the whole "I love you" in the middle of the ring as Rock kept pushing away Earl so he couldn't hear him and Steve convo at Mania after the match

Undertaker seemed to get along with most major talents, taped fists directed at Shawn aside (and even they seemed to have got along well enough during their 09/10 bouts).

Someone correct me if I’m wrong but I feel like Andre got along pretty good with Hogan and Macho. Absolutely not, in Savage's case. Savage was one of the many guys on Andre's sh*tlist. I believe the story on Bret and Shawn is that they were friends or at least cordial up through the build to WM12, when tension started because they worked themselves into a shoot--their plan was to cut little shoot-like jabs at each other to try to work the boys in addition to the fans, and of course that completely blew up. For the main event and semi-main event run in '92, they seemed to be fine.
