Ok what four video game characters would get the old rock treatment
Mario - goes without saying Pacman - iconic character, deserves a spot Ryu - Represents the franchise best and what a game series The zigzag Tetris block - cause if you don't like Tetris, you're dead inside.

Pacman - Represents the birth of gaming as a cultural thing (sorry pong) Mario - The platformer character and also iconic Doom Guy - The original FPS icon (Master Chief is too modern) The EA Games Logo - Representing sports game domination.

George Stobbart and not before a full investigation of Mt Rushmore. George could also be up there for the coolest voice in video game history.

I would rather do one honoring the men and women who influenced the gaming industry and community.
And, yes, Miyamoto would be up there.

Mario Sonic Pac-Man Honestly can't think of a fourth. Those three are so far above the others.

I’d probably include the Houser Brothers (if we can nominate them both as one entry) if we were doing creators.

For characters? Mario, Doomguy, Minecraft Creeper and Pac Man
For overall:
An Arcade Cabinet: The Iconic shape. At even the quickest glace nearly every adult knows it's purpose. Mario: Certain things you just don't need to explain. GAME OVER: yes I'd carve a giant GAME OVER. A headset on a 12 year old, preferentially with a "giant word cloud portrayed in comic book style" containing language about one's mother, complaining about lag/cheating or questioning the sexuality of their opponents.

Pac-man - For the Atari and early day icon. Mario - self explanatory. Ryu - since Fighting games were a huge thing that kept games in arcades during the 90s either Blastowitz or Doom Guy for the FPS crowd
All 4 of them had countless rip offs and pretty much created entire genres.
Persojnally I think it's harder to do based on real people...
For instance all of the following fit...
William Higinbotham, Jerry Lawson, Ralph H. Baer, Gunpei Yokoi, Carol Shaw
but that leaves out people like
Miyamoto, Toru Iwatani, John Carmack, Lord British, Peter Molyneux, Roberta Williams... etc. etc.

Woah, this exactly what I was gonna post, but replace EA with the Grand Theft Auto series. It popularised the 3D open-world, sandbox genre and is still the face of it despite not having a new entry in 7 years.
