Over the past few months, there has been an increase here in the aggressive and passive-aggressive levels of the posts in the WWE and AEW sections. We understand there's a lot of frustration going on; partly due to current events, stay-at-home, etc. But it has to end. We've let a lot slide on the boards trying to play peacemakers, but it is getting out of hand, and we will be taking different measures to curb this.
Effective immediately, those who consistently tend to bait or flame or generally talk down to their fellow posters will be seeing suspensions and possibly bannings instead of simple warnings. If you're one of those WWE or AEW diehards that feels compelled to go in the other's section and rile things up by "just giving my opinion" after purposely starting crap, now's a real good time to stop that. Be careful how you talk to or about others who do not share your opinion. Being an ass about things, trying to tell others that their opinion is wrong, whatever, it's time to stop that. Take that crap to Twitter or wherever. It doesn't belong here. This goes especially for certain longer-term posters who feel they can get away with constantly stepping toes over lines because they know all that will happen is they'll be told to stop. Not anymore. The WWE/AEW "war" is only one example of this, not the only example.
It's perfectly fine to voice displeasure with the actions of either promotion. It's perfectly fine to voice displeasure with angles, or matches or any other related things. It's not fine to be a dick while doing so. Find better ways to state your opinion, find ways that don't involve being an ass to others.
