I’ve been enjoying Cody’s stuff, but I’m also not looking to constantly compare him to others either. Don't get me wrong I like Cody. Not every wrestler can pull off doing what he does. But he really needs to tone it down. It's way too noticeable and people are gonna hate on him like they did those guys soon. Not being World Champ isn't going to mask what he's doing for long. With putting so much spotlight on himself all the time. I guess we’ll see. I like everything he’s done so far. He’s a great babyface who’s character is a bit of an asshole sometimes. I think the ppl complaining are probably looking for a reason to do so.

You know, Cody, you CAN have a good match without literally trying to kill yourself. It's possible. Guessing a lot of this is him wanting to put a lot of shine on Jungle Boy.

No matter who he feuds(Spears, Jericho, MJF, Archer) with the feud gets the most tv time or even with title feud. Hes gotta have first Dynamite match, first draw, first cage match, first TNT champion etc. Outside of Jericho he probably gives himself the most promo time. Then the theatrics in matches with bleeding, kicking out of his finish, moonsult off cage and making him over coming the odds etc. He's smart and has good mind for the business. He knows how to book himself and things he has to do that make him come off as great babyface to fans. Again not every wrestler can pull it off even with strong booking. So he deserves some credit for getting over like he has. That said he also should take step back from getting himself over always. By passing spotlight around a bit. Cody career can survive if say he got as much promo time and time spent on his feud. As say Kenny Omega for a month and I'm not even a Omega guy. I'm just pointing out one EVP who puts the spotlight on himself. While another EVP who's willing to take lesser role to give other people more time and get others more over. When the time comes hopefully Cody willing to trade roles but I have my doubts.
