Taped AEW shows inexplicably always seem to take a viewership dip, despite no spoilers ever leaking out.

Still doing great in demos. Figured it'd go down post-ppv and Tyson not advertised.

Per Wrestlenomics, for the second straight week, AEW and NXT combined equaled RAW's P18-49 rating.

Surprised both shows didn't really tank under the circumstances. Going to be interesting to see what happens to Dynamite with TNT having expanded NBA coverage once they start playing again.

Taped Night I figured would make it go down, thought the title matches might help but the demos didn't dip which is the good news here
I really wanna see the breakdowns for both shows this week since they both seemed to do generally well.

Wouldnt be shocked if the main event tanked due to being predictable like Jericho vs Darby was last year.

Would be a shame because it was such a good match and Jungle Boy's so damn good but yeah they were looking WAY past him in terms of Cody having this belt for awhile. If I were them I have Cody vs Quen opening the show this week because predictability doesn't always hurt the beginning of the show, they want a hot match to start things off.

I was worried it'd be lower, on account of uhh, stuff being pretty wild right now.

It is interesting that 18-34 was up despite the overall drop. I'm curious if that pattern keeps up going forward.

From PWTorch: Last week’s AEW viewership, after three additional days of DVR viewership, grew t0 1.033 million, the first time it drew more than a million viewers since March 25. AEW typically drew more than 1 million viewers most weeks in their run on TNT until Apr. when it began topping out around 900,000 the last two months.

Shocked Jericho/Cabana did so low, I assume people just figured it was a forgone conclusion of a match. As people said Orange Cassidy really shot the ratings back up as did Baker. Both are red hot right now so it's awesome to see them draw. Moxley, Archer, and Hardy Party getting top viewership of the night is cool because it was a ton of setup. Taped shows normally do worse, but I'm curious how next week is gonna go. Orange is in action, FTR's first match, an intriguing TNT Title match, I hope it goes up, but it will be against In Your House Fallout too, so it might be a big week for both!

I'm really not surprised people would tune out on the FTR thing. It wasn't a very good promo, a lot of people pretty much just know them as the boring jobbers they've been the past few years, and I kind of feel like they're already pretty much squandering the Bucks feud because, "We want to fight you at your best because respect," is a lot less interesting than the, "We want to destroy everything you represent," thing everyone was fantasy-booking it as.

As pretty much a casual fan these days the two places I found myself tuning out were the FTR interview and Jericho v Colt, in fact I didn't even see how that match ended and didnt rewind to find out. So the ratings pretty much reflect me lol
