Could sworn there was a thread for this but anyway.....
Trailer was released last week but never got to post it. They are under a new studio as well which doesn't seem like it dipped the quality
I fell out on AOT during the Historia stuff but mostly caught back up. Should be interesting as there is a lot to get into this season for the people who only watch the anime. Manga readers obviously going to recognize some scenes including one i'm surprised they put in

AOT was one of THE ANIME just a few years ago, I think production delays really put the hurt on it in the end, kinda like what One Punch Man is going through now. Sometimes you gotta keep consistent or anime fans can move on. That being said, it's definitely looking like a banger of a final season and I hope it returns to relevance for it.

Well it doesn't help that S1 was 7 years ago and they had that 4 year gap in-between seasons One Punch Man suffered through that as said and Tokyo Ghoul who basically needs a Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood treatment in 5 years

If it can do it as good as Brotherhood did it will become timeless. Some anime just go through this unfortunately, others can have new seasons within a year, a little more, a little less, depending on the order and how they split the episodes. Or there's Hunter x Hunter which just suffered from the Manga halting over and over...

It is always a balance with this Like in theory, I prefer it this way where we get the full story as opposed to a bunch of filler. It's just the consistency of when the anime comes out is off the wall especially for shows like Attack on Titan and Tokyo Ghoul which were highly popular and got animes in the middle of their run meaning you weren't going to get an ending for a long time At least with AOT I think the hype around the new season will bring it back since it is still a high end Manga and final season hype will bring people back The Promised Neverland will have no problem doing their anime as the manga is finishing and S2 is coming next year. Same with My Hero Academy getting a season every year or other so the Manga stays way ahead of the story

I feel like that Anime hasn't had a break whatsoever since it began. Promised Neverland is a banger as well, another one that has long waits is Made in Abyss but I gladly wait for it cause it's damn good.

I made it a good few chapters in and stopped but I liked everything I read. One of those I really need to sit down and bang out like 50-100 chapters in a day I caught Made in Abyss last year and liked it. The movie they put on VRV this year and that's one of those that's really good and really easy to get into. Seven Deadly Sins has been lowkey putting out seasons on Netflix and that Manga just ended this year and they were already halfway done with the anime

It has similar premises to Naruto but distances itself very quickly. Made in Abyss is great, they're continuing the anime adaptation I think this or next year along with the movies which are just condensced versions. The Anime is absolutely gorgeous, and also has very dark scenes, some of the darkest I've seen in anime frankly. Great way to make an instantly irredeemable villain too and keep you hooked. I haven't seen Deadly Sins yet, I've heard people say it's good and other say it bored them. Overlord and Tanya The Evil are also very interesting watches. Oh and since I brought up One Punch Man, Mob Psycho 100 is a god damn masterpiece so far imo.

Yeah that’s what I always heard from Black Clover it is a mini NARUTO clone but isn’t really Seven deadly sins is good. It gets kind of boring way later but that was for one arc. You will love one character who is OP. Like if you going to make a character damn near untouchable, they did it correctly Mob psycho is great I got to watch the 2nd season. Same with Tanya The Evil who I think came out with more stuff but I lost track

2013 me would be thrilled at AOT falling off a cliff in popularity. I absolutely hated this series, and I still don't.

Curious, I haven't even watched Season 3 yet, but is this gonna be like the Bleach anime where it ends before the manga so we don't get the actual canon final story animated?

I’m guessing the seasons will be broken into parts as well since the manga isn’t officially finished and need time to animate that unless they know the ending already

Doubt it since AOT is on the home stretch of its final arc while Bleach was in its final arc but no one knew how long it would last At the very least based upon the trailer, they got the most important thing and you can’t leave that on a cliffhanger

Catch me up, is Eren still a psychopath and calling everyone slaves and he's the only one who's free Oh yeah to answer this question from before {Spoiler}{SPOILER: CLICK TO SHOW} He's still an ass but in a warped way he's doing it to protect his friends
Eren met Ymir. He unleashes the Titans in the Walls to kill everyone in the outside world to protect Paradis
