The question is simple between the two bam bams who do you think had the better career Gordy or Bigelow??

Gordy had the better career (WCCW, NWA, UWF, Japan, etc.), but he was usually a part of a team with the Freebirds and Dr. Death, so he had to share the spotlight often.
Bigelow more often than not was solo, and he has the distinction of main eventing WrestleMania with LT. Plus, he was innovative with his high-flying offense, which was rare for guys his size at the time he started.

Gordy. Bigelow was nothing special really. Gordy was a one every century talent.

This is hard because their careers had totally different trajectories. Bigelow sustained his success longer, but while Gordy's career was very much one of two halves, the heights he hit in the eighties and early nineties with the Freebirds and in All Japan, before all the pills and crack curtailed things, were significantly higher than anything Bigelow achieved.

I've not seen enough of Gordy's work to comment, however I do like aot of Bigelow's work, be in WWF, WCW or overseas.

This reminds me of that old ECW commercial:
"It's the battle of the Bam Bams, as Bam Bam Bigelow takes on Terry Bam Bam Gordy".
Despite being a huge ECW fan I don't think I ever actually saw that match, but this thread makes me want to watch it.

Easily Bigelow for me.
Gordy was talented as hell, but Bigelow's whole presentation from his look to his agility for a big man made him instantly memorable.

Both were amazing. Gordy was probably better booked, especially in places like All Japan, and he had the opportunity to put on some great matches. Bigelow had a ton of awesome performances himself and had the more marketable look, but he always had the worst timing in terms of getting the push he needed to reach the next level of fame.

I prefer Bigelow. One of my favorite wrestlers of all time. Had a great look, could work, great agility for his size. Amazing talent,
Gordy was obviously very good, but he didn’t have an iconic look like Bigelow. He just looked like a big old tough country boy, which I suppose he kind of was.

haven't seen enough Gordy to vote.
But you say Bam Bam and my first thought is usually Bigelow.
Unless we're talking about the Flintstones >_>

Gordy is an absolute legend, but Bigelow is one of the best big men ever, like aside from Vader, its him.

Bigelow is interesting. He was an early example (for me, someone who didn't really start watching until the 90s) of that guy who was always knocking on the door, always JUST ABOUT to break through, and then circumstances/booking turned out of his favor.

He main-evented both Survivor Series 87 and WrestleMania 11. Strange that 1 year after each event he was gone.

For my money, Bigelow was the best big man of his era.
I recall a Bret Hart shoot where he talked about how Bam Bam was so fun to wrestle because he could make anything look good and really took care of the other guy, while he hated wrestling Vader because he was so stiff and painful. Up to then, Bigelow and Vader were at the same level for me, but that comment elevated Bam Bam to the top for me.
I loved Gordy in Japan where he was a real badass with Dr. Death. Yet, I have to give Bigelow the edge in this battle.

I liked them both but Bam Bam Bigelow was one of the best big men ever and he had a fantastic look.

Man...what a tough question. I legitimately have had this thread open for a few minutes thinking about which way to go.
I went with Bigelow. I think, in the end, I am just more amazed by what he can do at his size.

I gotta go Bigelow but that's because he had a longer career on bigger stages Gordy's was mostly in Japan but do you think had Gordy not had his overdose and coma he would have gotten another big run in the us?

Bigelow, though I do like Gordy's Natsume Championship Wrestling theme:
