I thought the ending was earned. Yeah it was about toxic relationships, but that's not to say those can't be mended and forgiven sometimes too. I thought that's what happened here, first with the parental one&them the romantic one. Especially with the latter, watching this all within a week or so, they were building to that from the get go. The one thing I would have changed is not to have one more last 'you don't want me' thing in the middle of season 5. Other than that though felt they stuck the landing. Entrapta, the silly clearly on the spectrum genius was my favorite character, followed by Sea Hawk, Swift Wind and Wrong Hordak. Really good stuff. Noelle Stevenson confirmed Entrapta is on the spectrum. One of the show's crew is also autistic, and they helped in shaping and writing the character into what she became, which I thought was neat and made her feel a lot more authentic.

Entrapta, the silly clearly on the spectrum genius was my favorite character, followed by Sea Hawk, Swift Wind and Wrong Hordak. Really good stuff. What I said at the time, and I stand by it really was that {Spoiler} the moment when Catra realized she couldn’t just waltze in and manipulate Hordak Prime as she could everyone else was the moment it fully came to her that everything she did to that point was abusive, manipulative and decietful and why she first made the ultimate sacrifice, or so we thought at the time before we found out Prime’s true motive for stuff. So even if what happened didn’t happen, the reasoning, I thought, was earned or at least gave for a chance to build something more across the season, which they did.
I’d need to watch the show from the start but you’re probably right from the stuff I just about remember. All I know was that the last thing I expected them to do was for Adora and Catra to kiss, even though my head wanted it, because television but...well, it happened and I lost my mind. Also as an Autistic person, man was that validation good for my soul. Entrapta’s whole arc is one of my faves of the show and it was no wonder I felt like I could relate to how she was since, well, there’s a lot similar with my life at times.

Wrong Hordak just goin MIA in the finale was kind of weird.
I'll also say that them building up Krytis and magic as Prime's big weakness only it to give us Melog who pretty much just became energy Panthor was kind of lame.

I'll also say that them building up Krytis and magic as Prime's big weakness only it to give us Melog who pretty much just became energy Panthor was kind of lame. A lot of characters just kind of awkwardly vanish at some point. It's pretty equally weird that the best Huntara and Kyle & co. get is a silent cameo, and Sea Hawk is just kind of MIA for the first half of the season before they just kind of start acting like he was there the whole time. It's also kind of odd how much of a non-presence Double Trouble is. They're a major part of season 4 then they really just get the one episode in season 5.

I think what most annoyed me is that they set up the end of Season 4 as though Season 5 was going to end everything and then Season 5 leaves you with unanswered questions which leads to wanting a Season 6 and it sort of kills me that we likely won't happen unless they're going to do a Steven Universe Future-style epilogue series.

Saw #SheRaMovie trending on Twitter and I got really excited until I saw it's just people asking for one. ... I'm very much with them on that.

I love that Noelle Stevenson confirmed that as kids, Adora first met Catra when she found her in a box.
