Only words I can make out on the shirt are "fine art", but yeah, that's not a good look.

Wouldn't be remotely surprising, but designs like that have long been common with metalheads.
Anyway, I'd really caution against looking at anything wrestling-related aside from the in-ring stuff pre, say, 2005. It's simply factual than 80% of people involved in the boom years of the industry were real pieces of shit in some way or other.

Quick Google, looks like that's a shirt from Dago Choppers circa mid to late 80s.
Yes, they used *that* SS in the logo. Which...seems was the Motorcycle Club style at the time??

And here I was hoping to see a picture of someone wearing the infamous Sin Cara dick shirt.

I suspect the shirt and the design has more to do with motorcycle culture. Based on the limited research I was able to find, it seems to be an older logo of S&S Cycle (motor cycle parts) or something to do with the Hell's Angels. Based on the design pattern, I suspect it's a advertisement for a motorcycle shop of some kind. It almost looks just like the below lightning bolts. If you're going to throw around some heavy accusations, there should be some more thoughtful analysis than one sentence and an inconclusive photo.

Sorry if it came across that way but I was not trying to accuse Taker of being a Nazi. I saw this on Twitter and decided to post it here since I trust you guys to have a thoughtful discussion about these things. It's why I didn't make a thread title saying "Taker Joins Nazi Party" or something.

I think it's more just a case of people in society not being culturally aware. We're still obviously dealing with it with flags, statues and the like.
I've never heard anything racist about Undertaker, so I'm going with ignorance over malice here.

Hardcore Kiss fans are nuts. If you were looking for it, you would often see the Kiss fonts used in people's business logos. Obviously not as much anymore, but the 80's & 90's that font was all over the place.

Dago Choppers shirt. This is the exact shirt: www.ebay.com/itm/333516010008You can still speculate all you want, or you can keep in mind that not everyone on the planet hyper-analyzes the things they wear. Sometimes they buy or receive clothing as gifts simply because “this looked really cool.” Especially, uh, thirty years ago??

The SS logo was still a symbol of white supremacy thirty years ago, believe it or not. It wasn't some obscure symbol that people wouldn't notice. It looks cool? Yeah, that was a large part of the Nazi design aesthetic. Was Taker ignorant of it? Perhaps wilfully so. Is he a white supremacist? Probably not. Was the Dago Choppers Club a white supremacist group? That's far more likely.

It's possible to be a fan of motorcycles and yet have the common sense to not wear Nazi logos.

IIRC, a lot of "counter-culture" motorcycle gangs around that time used symbols like that to intentionally shock and piss people off rather than specifically espousing pro-Nazi/white supremacist ideology. I also imagine a decent portion of those gangs really did have pro-white supremacist/Nazi attitudes.
I've never heard one thing or another about Taker being a bigot towards the typical targets of those groups (Jews, Black people, etc.) so I'll give him benefit of the doubt he was just really ignorant about it. You also have to wonder why no one ever said anything about it until decades later.

Interestingly, Kiss use a different logo in parts of Europe and in Israel because of the similarities to the SS rune.

The KISS logo is somewhat similar, but then I don't think anyone is going to ever accuse KISS of being Nazi sympathizers.

I think it's an indication of Undertaker being a pretty big mark for biker culture more than anything.
Not saying it's right, and I'd hope in 2020 he'd have the brains not to rock a shirt with bulls*** like that on it.
Maybe kind of similar(and this is a bit of a stretch) to HHH having the iron cross on his gear likely because he's a big Motorhead mark.
Of course you can talk about the link between certain biker gangs and racism, but that's something I don't want to go on a tangent on here.
Regardless, I don't see Taker has being someone with hateful views. He seems like too much of a standup guy for that. I do however see him being ignorant enough at that age and time period to think having a shirt with that symbol on its logo is ok.
