It's amazing. Kinda pricey, but a great read.

I actually wanna read this. Aside from being a fan of the entire Koei catalogue of games based on it, I'm just a Chinese warfare history buff in general. Odd hobby horse, I know, but hey, we can't always choose our passions.

I'll quote Aaron McGruder here. "READ, DUMMY!" It's awesome. I'm still waiting on the second volume of the french translation.

I would recommend any of the recent Dynasty Warriors games, as well as Kessen 2 for the PS2. The actual RotTK games are fun for me, but they might not be for everybody else. Plus, I have no idea where you'd find them.

Yeah, but of all the games, I recommend any recent installment of the Dynasty Warriors series, or Kessen 2 for the PS2.

If you dont mind some strategy in your games, go for Kessen 2. If you want to just become a one man Chinese army, get Dynasty Warriors.

My roommate has Dynasty Tactics 2, and I plan on eventually picking it up, as well. It looks fairly neat. Not as insanely complicated as the Rot3K games, but not 'one-man-army' games like the Dynasty Warriors games either. It doesn't look like it really plays like FFT or the Nippon Ichi strategy titles, almost more like a turn-based Kessen 2 (without the magical fantacrap).

Dynasty Warriors is underappreciated. Sure all 121430414543513 versions of the game have the same exact story, most of the same characters (just more and more become playable), same locations (just different maps), same controls and same strategy (kill anything that moves), but the games are fun as hell and addicting. I still need to pick my copy up for the 360

I still sometimes play the original Romance of the Three Kingdoms game for NES. Haven't played in a couple weeks or so, but I'm making a pretty decent push.

684 pages and you're crying? Read Journey to The West and get back to me.

romance of the 3 kingdoms: Wall of Fire is one of my top 10 favorite SNES games of all time.
Also Destiny of an Emporor was a great RPG for NES that was based on the Romance time period too. Liu Bei, Cao cao, Lu Bu... fantastic stuff. I've always wanted to read the book.

684 pages and you're crying? Read Journey to The West and get back to me. it's not that as much as it reads like a history book from 1964, that has 690 pages (yeah I went back and actually checked). also the damn thing has 60 chapters.
