Yeah but given her past problematic persona this should be the icing on the cake. If you’re fired while top champion that pretty much cements that’s you’re a problem. Honestly maybe AEW would be the right fit. Maybe Tully can help he get her shit together. We know she talented but yes a problem. Tessa is estranged from Tully. Magnum raised her.

I’m trying to think of another time a champion (even midcard) was fired, let alone the top champion. I know there has to be one but the best I can come up with is Chynas WWE contract expiring while she was Womens Champion and the belt disappearing for six months. Or was she fired? I remember there were backstage problems at the time. Enzo was cruiserweight champ when he was released. I feel like there was another I'm spacing on but maybe not.

Well, firing your World champion is certainly a thing. I'd imagine there has to have been an inciting incident in doing this now, even with the reports that there's drama with her at the moment - firing your champion is a pretty extreme move and all. And yeah, clearly giving her the belt was just absolutely moronic on every level, as if that was up for debate before this. Outright firing her means something clearly major went down. If she was just not wanting to leave Mexico for fear of not being able to return, that's one thing. Strip her of the title and then you've got an easy feud once things, pray to all the gods, get back to normal. Them firing her too means something happened that we don't know about yet. Dying to know what that is!

Given her contract was about to expire before the ppv. And they were hoping she could do one last match. A lot of this just sounds like impact being salty. But if they were trying to work it out with her for months to at least come to one of the taping to drop it. I can’t blame them.
I’m guessing she would have lost the title to Elgin at rebellion had the pandemic not happened. I guess they dodged that bullet.

Honestly maybe AEW would be the right fit. Maybe Tully can help he get her shit together. We know she talented but yes a problem. Tully hasn't interacted with her in years and AEW has made the decision so far to steer clear of people who'd give them headaches with their attitudes and punish those like we've seen with Guevera and Havoc.
No doubt if they did show interest in her she'd demand to be made the top star immediately and go over everyone and never be allowed to look bad or weak. If she does have an incident backstage or make hateful remarks like she has, you really think she's going to let AEW discipline her?

Magnum raised her, yes, but from what I understand she has a good relationship with Tully unless the falling out is very recent.

I just hope Ring of Honor doesn’t make a huge mistake and brings her in, but that would be just what will happen after things have been turning around so nicely for them.

Man, I like her as a wrestler, but she REALLY needs to get her sh** together or she is going to be just wasted potential like Alberto La Mierda.

I don’t blame any performer for not wanting to work during the pandemic, especially if you and your spouse live in another country and it would be hard for them to travel with you. But not even sending a pretaped interview that’s some diva stuff right there.

Shit, I wasn’t even aware of that one Great company to keep I was wrong, it didn't happen quiet like that. He was stripped of the belt and suspend when the stuff with Paige happened. He came back and was than fired for no showing a Impact vs. Lucha Underground event on WM weekend.

Between Sexy Star in LU and Tessa in Impact, companies have not had a good track record with putting their main belts on women. Too be entirely fair the shit with sexy star took place long after she won and lost the title and she only held it for a week once it aired.

Jesus. Now we won’t ever get to read the stories of what the locker room was like with her and Deonna on the same roster.
Absolute insanity.

At least Austin Aries got pinned before he got up without selling and shouting at booker and walked out and left the company.
Impact seriously needs to think about who they put their world title on.
