I feel like there have been so many “If Vince messes up (blank), then he has no idea how to make stars anymore” that you could fill a whole roster and I’ve been guilty of this too... But if Vince messes up Keith Lee when he ticks pretty much all the boxes he could possibly have for someone he wants at the top of the card then the guy has no credibility as a booker of a wrestling show. We(well I and other people ) said same thing about Ryback. Now Keith Lee is much better in-ring but I dont think Vince cares much about it. Point is ,there is always the chance that Keith Lee is losing repeatedly to Seth/Roman and turn heel.

His hoss size is perfect. Big enough to be a scary, serious looking badass but not big enough for a hasty heel turn, 6 months of squashes, vanquished by an unlikeable face on a high profile PPV and then a dancing gimmick 3 months later.

I don't watch much NXT so my only real exposure to him was the Rumble last year. Within like ten seconds I was like holy shit this dude is awesome push him to the damn moon. I bet a lot of people have that same instant reaction. He totally has the potential.

Re Vince and Kane - keep in mind how many times its come out Kane turned down World title reigns. And Vince kept offering them.
As for Keith Lee - his potential on the card is limitless.

They should finally build Big E up to get the title and have Lee come in as a heel and destroy the New Day and have him win the title from Big E. Eventually, you can turn him face (a la Rock) and I think he could be huge.... maybe not Rock/Austin huge, but huge for this era WWE. Maybe I'm off...

The question isn't whether he has the potential IMO but whether he will be able to live up to his potential because while everyone that watches him on a near weekly basis can clearly see it , the only one thing that really matters is if an old curmungeony old man sees it and sees it longer than the 3.5 seconds his mind is only capable of.
But he needs to be the face of the company for the next decade because he is everything this company needs in their next mega star and IMO Kross should be right there with him as his key rival because they damn sure aint gonna give that spot to Dijak sadly.

Not only do I think Keith Lee could be the top guy in WWE, but I think he has the potential to branch out into other forms of entertainment outside of WWE when his name value grows within WWE.

Oh absolutely.
He's got a great look, is talented, and he has the likeability and charisma of a promotion's top babyface.

Keith Lee is legitimately good enough to be the top guy. He has everything you could want, from athletic prowess to being well-spoken and humble. He's perfect.

I'll put it this way. My mom doesn't care about NXT whatsoever. It just isn't a show that interests her. But Keith Lee is one guy on there she remembers and wants to see, and pretty much has been since his Survivor Series effort. In fact I think it was a mistake not to put him on the main shows at that point.
I do fear Vince will see him as a bit awkwardly sized, as in an in betweener. As in he's not the ultra jacked dude like Lashley or McIntyre, but he's also not really the huge Mark Henry/Big Show type either. Lee seems like someone who used to be an offensive lineman in football.

Keith Lee has an advantage most NXT guys don't in terms of being friggin' enormous.
Also someone I could see killing it on on late night talk shows or GMA.

What part of limitless is unclear?
Edit: I don’t think that reads in a joking tone like I intended.

Using the Bret Hart scale, dude is well over a 20. Really not sure how it took him so long to break out but I'm damn happy he did

It’s always wild to me thinking back to his NXT debut which was a completely unimpressive win where he got overshadowed by Marcel Bethel.
Then he just aimlessly floated until my man Dijakovic helped set that potential in motion. It’s been fun to watch his rise.

Trips: You guys don't have to actually kill each other. Promise me you won't go full Tanaka/Awesome. Dija: You thinking what I'm thinkin? Lee:

It's one of those feuds, like Dream vs. Black, where both guys came out looking great (even if Dijak's not doing anything right now). Lee's awesome, though. I'd be more than happy to have him represent my company as my top face.

Keith is more than capable in the ring and on the mic. Is a real life teddy bear. Dude should be the next Cena. Just let him do his thing. No blue-chipper Rocky or Super Cena shit. Let him do what he does, and he is big time money.
