First that comes to mind was the Leagur of Nations vs Roman Reigns. Maybe because it's more recent? I was barely watching at that point.

I swear Heenan had the Heenan family whoop the Red Rooster ass every chance they got Rooster was a former family member whom turned his back on Heenan so it wasn't too out of left field. In fact the whole Red Rooster name and gimmick came about in kayfabe because Terry Taylor was Heenan's metaphorical pet project (IE taking a little chick and raising it to become the king of the barnyard: The great Red Rooster.)

First that comes to mind was the Leagur of Nations vs Roman Reigns. Maybe because it's more recent? I was barely watching at that point. Sheamus popped onto Miro(Rusev)'s stream and they talked about that faction, and how it was booked so poorly. Both guys knew the point was to put over Roman, and both guys like Roman a lot and were happy to do it, but they weren't really put in a position to get the group over to where putting Roman, and then New Day, over accomplished anything. Like, all four guys had credibility and successes... prior to the group, but they were booked like idiots. Compare it to the Shield or the Wyatts, where they took NXT people most of the audience either had a passing familiarity with or none, and booked them to get wins over people or accomplish things. When people beat those factions, it actually meant something to viewers because they were formidable, and not just "but there's four of 'em, so that means something, right?"

WCW, 1995. Why was it necessary for Flair and Anderson to act like they hated each other, Flair to job multiple times to Anderson, get his ass kicked by Anderson and Pillman, work himself into Sting's confidence, sign a tag team match for Halloween Havoc pairing him with Sting against Anderson and Pillman, only to come out and turn on Sting and kick his ass with Anderson and Pillman's help? Why was it necessary to carry on this ruse for two months just to kick Sting's ass and be like "HAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHA!" I was hoping the announcers would sell it as Flair made amends with Anderson and Pillman at the last minute so the last two months would make some modicum of sense. But no, they sold it as "It's been a ruse all along!" I guess they wanted to kick Sting's ass in the ring during a match where they could do it legally. I loved Sting's revenge. He should never have let Scorpion go.

I’m not sure why Ted Dibiase one day decided he wanted to ruin Lex Luger’s life. Pretty much nothing the Million $ Corporatation did made any sense (cents?). Why humiliate Nikoli Vokoff when he’d been retired for years? Why provoke the Undertaker by making a fake one? Why falsely accuse Luger - Couldn’t you have just signed Tatanka? Why develop a plan to get Shawn Michaels to take Sid as a bodyguard just to screw him out of his title match against Diesel? Wouldn’t Shawn be easier to beat than Diesel? Couldn’t you just have signed Sid and asked for a title shot? When you're as rich as Dibiase, you can do stupid, indulgent shit for the hell of it. It's the wrestling equivalent of shooting a Tesla into space.

The best was Sting being self aware that Flair had dicked him over in the past and refusing, before finally giving Flair the benefit of the doubt but warning him not to do it again. This was immediately followed by Flair screwing Sting over for the zillionth time

I think there was a match at WW3 in November, but yeah...pretty much.

Wasn’t there like a month that Evolution feuded with Eugene or was that only Triple H and Ric? Think it was mainly Triple H. It was part of them ruining Benoit’s reign. Triple H beat the shit out of Eugene and Benoit was there, crying while Eugene got attended to.

I swear Heenan had the Heenan family whoop the Red Rooster ass every chance they got Ken "Ex-Con" Patera was another target, but there was some history. The company just vastly overestimated the appeal of a babyface whose appeal was just "coming out of jail". Heel Ken Patera before his incarceration was damn good in the ring. Ken’s return as a baby face was stupid booking as there wasn’t much to like about him, and he was disrespectful to Bobby.

Wasn’t there like a month that Evolution feuded with Eugene or was that only Triple H and Ric? It stems from a promo where Rock asked Eugene his favorite wrestler, thinking he'd say Rock, but he said Triple H. Evolution then tried manipulating Eugene into helping Triple H win back the World title. 2004 Raw is one of my favorite years
