"It's been a struggle in the sense that there have just been a lot of decisions that have to be made quickly as far as travel is concerned. Because now that we're doing added testing and those swabs every single time before these tapings, that puts you in a little bit of a hole as far as your travel is concerned because now you are going to have to leave a day early, and when you don't know you have to leave a day early until it all comes up it becomes a bit of a hassle. We had to make some changes to the taping schedule last week, which is going to force us to go back down again this week to do some more tapings. "As we as a country and the world really just start to learn more about this thing, we are just trying to get a protocol in place that makes sense for everybody in WWE. I'm for one extremely happy that we're testing every time before we go in. That will hopefully minimize the risk of people getting sick in the Performance Center and obviously us passing it out into the general population. The fact that we're testing is definitely great." "The extra travel days is what it is, not a big deal. But this week was crazy. It was a lot of people scrambling to make decisions and to try to figure out what the best order of operations is regarding this situation since we had not had this problem yet. Luckily, I think we have some good stuff coming up as far as we're gonna handle this. The communication has been a lot better toward the tail end of this than in the beginning. It was (laughs) tricky at first, but we're all along for the ride." www.wrestlinginc.com/news/2020/07/seth-rollins-on-how-covid-19-has-impacted-wwe-tapings-671990/

“We have some good stuff coming up”
Oh, I’m glad Seth’s found a career on presenting Good Morning America.
Now how’s WWE dealing with Covid-19?

To respond to this in a wrestling context, that's like saying "AJ Styles, TNA 2014 Rookie of the Year!"

As a writer who has emerged from a near trance-like writing state only to look back at what I wrote and realize it is just a series of meaningless words contributing nothing, delete it, and then start over again this time actually trying to do something, I feel uniquely qualified to say that that is three meaningless paragraphs that didn't deserve to even be printed.

SETH: COVID testing is good. WWE tests for COVID. WWE is good. Bummer I can't go more places.

you know the comedy trope of some having to make a speech or presentation and they ruin/lose part of the notes on it?
I think thats what happened

That's a long way of saying "Changing plans on the fly was tough but I'm glad we're testing now."

Considering how badly he's put his foot in his mouth before on topics a lot lighter than this, I'm actually relieved Seth managed to stick to a blandly meaningless stock response.

Seth is a dumb f***. He either says something that gives me a negative opinion about him, or he says something so meaningless, so devoid of actual content, that I can't help but feel sorry for how much of a dumb f*** he is.

Well see the funny thing with that is, when people say words they're usually meant to communicate what the speaker intends to say, and of course intention is important, we need intention. So when you speak without intention, you can end up throwing out a lot of words that don't mean very much just to fill airtime. Circular thoughts that don't do much but serve to keep silence from creeping in so it sounds like you're giving an answer, and hey, lots of words is always good. The more words you can make your response have, oftentimes the more it seems like you have a lot to say, and people like it when someone has a lot to say about something. Especially when something is important; important issues can want lots of words because a cogent thinker should have a lot of things to say about an issue. And everyone wants to come off as being smarter. We value intellect a lot as a society. It's a trait we put a lot onto, and that may not be fair, some people even say that intellect can often be defined in very narrow ways that aren't fair to a lot of people. Others think that different forms of intellect can be valued differently and that society views the forms more conducive toward capitalism and serving the system to be better, which can make people who excel in other areas become undervalued. So the problem becomes how we emphasize things and how that shift contributes to our society's view of intellect. It's all very complicated. Something should be done. And what's crazy about it is that you can just keep saying things and very rarely will someone cut you off to say you're rambling. Sometimes because you're saying so many words that people assume you hae something meaningful to say of course. You're speaking and it's rude to interrupt, but also you're hearing the words and you're following each thought. That can make it easy to miss the bigger picture. The bigger picture is important. Everyone talks about the bigger picture and how much it means so when you have the bigger picture it's easier to see that something doesn't make a lot of sense. When someone is talking they can hide it easier, because each thought gets to be its own thing and you can't easily reference back to the whole. And what that can mean is that people will be able to lead on an answer to a question without having to say anything but it doesn't really become apparent so the statement is allowed to stand. So yes of course COVID-19 is very important and WWE is going to be impacted by the tests. The virus has a big important and it's only natural that that would impact the goings on, so they should get their protocol into place. I'm very happy they have a protocol, having a protocol is an important thing that will help keep everybody safe. Safety is important to that. Safety is everyone's top priority and we're all doing our part. Safety is great, testing is great, having a protocol is great. The tapings are going on but of course the tapings are being effected by this, the impact is big. This is a serious issue and the whole world is taking it very seriously. We're better off for WWE having a protocol because something awful could happen without one.
