I rated a 9. Only because too me a 10 would be a bit unfair, that'd be implying a perfect show which is rare. But this show came pretty damn close.

seven mostly because I have not cared for the Lumis/Strong feud nor did I care about Sasha vs Io.... or the 4 way at the beginning. Not because I didn't think it wws a good match, it was. But WWE tends to keep some things going a little too long and Kai/Knox and Yim/Larae both dont interest me anymore.
Still a very good show and a couple things were set up nicely for next week

10 OUTTA MUTHA f***IN 10!!! 9 - 10 is a special rarity so it is the next closest Apart from the 4 way elimination match (untill it came down to the final 2 and the rather surprising winner) this show was banger beginning to end....with alot of awesome vingettes and an epic video package to hype up the double title match next week. And what can I say about the main event....EASILY Sashas best match in gawd knows how long and no surprise it comes with her in their with the best womens wrestler on the planet and crazy to think this was them not even really getting out of first gear and really there is no doubt more to come ...always leave them wanting more. Oh and what attention to detail at the end....Sasha gets misted...gets moonsaulted while she is face down and Io then covers Sashas face with her leg while making the pin. AND TWIN TAILS!! gawd I wish Kairi was there for it as well.

9
4 Way: Sloppy, more awkward start, but Dakota and Tegan last 5 minutes or more were really good.
Thatcher vs. Oney: Fantastic mat base wrestling with hard hitting action inbetween holds. Thatcher is is just a different breed.
RSB vs. Rhea: Very fun comedy match. I would've liked to see her be force to join RSB, but this storyline has done a very good job of building Rhea's stock back up.
ALL THE VIDEOS PACKAGES! The pre match one before Strong/Lumis was perfect, Karrion Kross vignette was awesome and the hype video for Cole/Lee was one of the best produced WWE videos packages in the last 10 years.
Strong vs. Lumis: Damn good methodical match with great psychological and good wrestling. Lumis is an special attraction.
Io vs. Sasha: Even though they were holding a little back this still was really good. Sasha brought her A game for sure. I didn't expect a clean finish so the flunky finish didn't bother me and worked in storylines.
Can't wait until next week! Seriously that Cole/Lee hype video has me even way more hype.

Solid 8
Nothing was perfect but everything was really good. Sasha had her best singles match in lord knows how long. Lee vs Cole got big time hype. Gargano vs Swerve looks to be happening soon. Priest and Grimey Grimes is going to have another match. Lumis showed he can work in character and keep up with a workhorse in Roddy.
Really fun show

Incomplete for now. Missed the hype package & main event for dinner, I’ll be back with a proper score after watching it when it’s on the network.
Other than the first half of the 4-way being quite bad, it was a very good show.

I had to work so I missed the whole thing and I will sadly miss next week for the exact same reason.
And considering NXT is usually WWE's best stuff, it makes me really f***ing upset.

7. I would have gone 8, but some of the matches were just too long. Watching this after already watching Fyter Fest tonight isn't why I wasn't terribly patient with some of the matches, either, because I don't think there's any night I wouldn't have called the 4-way or Roderick/Lumis a test of my patience.
Main event was lovely, though, so it was still worthwhile for me to watch, even if I am pretty glad I didn't pick it live.

From a wrestling perspective, easily a 9. One of the best NXT shows since the pandemic and no crowds.
Overall perspective, 7. Getting tired of hearing Mauro flat out interrupt people, and they can only talk when he says their names. And the added in crowd noise is cringey as hell. Also the regular crowd noise tends to be cringey as hell.
But Io vs Banks was a show stealer, and I still think Bayley is killing it as a heel in a way I never would have expected her to. For the first time in forever we saw The Boss, and I've missed her very much. Seeing Crazy Misty Dancey Asuka in the ring with Crazy Erratic Awesome Io at the same time was amazing. I wish Kairi had been there. Sad I'll prolly never get Io vs. Kairi or a stable with all 3 of them owning the women's division.
Lumis vs. Strong was well paced, my only complaint was Dexter made Roddy's whipping look brutal, but when it came time for Roddy's receipts, he turned into them and none of them looked or sounded good. Lumis had welts all over, Roddy could have taken a couple flat back straps, i mean dude got hit in the jaw by Strong at one point with the strap....nitpick, but it bugged me. I like that Lumis can take an ass-whooping, sell it, and still find a way to stay in character.
4 way was what it was. We can stop having Tegan always beating Kai in multi-woman matches anytime now. Dakota's stock has plummeted in a way that just makes me sad. There was so much potential after that heel turn.
But for the nitpicks, and Mauro shitting all over everything, the video packages made up for it.
Very very very solid show.
Now on to AEW as I play catch-up.
