It is an official Bond song but it is not the one used as the films theme, do you have any favorites?
Personal preference is If You Asked Me to, by Patti LaBelle. Sublime song to a sublime voice. One of my all time favorite songs period.

I was gonna go with The Man with the Golden Gun by Alice Cooper.
Depending how he tells the story, they asked him to do the song and then went with Lulu. Or he wrote the song and went “Looky here!!!!!” And they went with Lulu.

I actually prefer Scott Walker's "Only Myself To Blame" over the main World Is Not Enough theme.

Also, this one is elegant: That movie also has the amazing song that plays for the milkman (hahaha) "Where Has Everybody Gone" - particularly the instrumental version. It's not as good as the song you posted, but man that movie has it up and down in the music department.

Not only is it John Barry’s best Bond score, but I think it’s the best score in the entire franchise.

Experience of Love from Goldeneye. Warm fuzzy 90s memories there.

One of my all time favorite songs period. I have always liked that song. Don't get me wrong, "Licence to Kill" from Gladys Knight is an awesome song, but I liked "If You Asked Me To" from Patti LaBelle much more.

Granted the 67 version of Casino Royale was a spoof, but it is funny that Springfield's song has had a bigger legacy than the title theme.

Bond 77
It's a cool disco sounding piece of music from The Spy Who Loved Me when Stromberg sends his female helicopter pilot to kill Bond, but she gets clipped when his submarine car fires a missile at her.

I actually prefer Scott Walker's "Only Myself To Blame" over the main World Is Not Enough theme. I didn't know this existed but it's damn good. I love Scott Walker, mostly for his genuinely horrifying late career work, but this is just really beautiful in a sullen way. Also my choice may not technically count, but I always thought "Bachelorette" by Bjork sounded like a Bond theme that never got used.
