It's kind of funny how he's basically been begging for an AEW job on social media these past few weeks.
Even if the Mil Muertes name is copyrighted, it would not be that hard to come up with a similar mask and name. I would totally mark out if he came out. Especially as the enforcer to Penta and Fenix.

That's not a bad way to go about it PAC being stuck in the UK makes a call to ensure Death Triangle still wrecks havok on AEW, enter Muertes to be their heater and wreck shit while they do the heavy lifting.

If LU is really done, see how much El Rey wants for the rights. Have Dario Cueto come out and run down Cody, then say HIS BROTHER! is getting in the ring. El Rey does not own LU. MGM does and I can tell you absoloutley MGM aint selling the property because and I have mentioned it they still see it as a lucartive and worthwhile property and come around november when MGM gets the complete rights back (MGM licensed the broadcast rights to El Rey) there is a possibility they revive it because they love the show and wanted to make it for more money. I'd be all for it if they pay the talent more. I dunno if it was El Ray not paying up or MGM

LU was constantly hampered by whethere a season was coming back So with no LU there was no work So with no work = No pay THAT is and was the core issue...it was never JUST money or JUST contracts it was the fact that LU was always taking so long to come back that guys and gals were just fed up waiting around because they genulinely loved working there but they were left waiting around for MGM and El Rey and Univison to sort through their bullshit about how much money to spend on the next season. I have never heard in the litney of interviews with LU talent any of them complain about their pay....MGM treated Chelsea Green better than alot of wrestling companies do and she was there for a cup of coffee...they paid for her travel , gave her perdium for food and washed her outfits after every taping and gave it back to her.

Sonny Kiss's interview on Jericho's podcast does point to some serious money issues coming from the whole arrangement they had; he says he was paid about $4,000 for the work he did, but then had to turn down more lucrative work due to the nature of their contracts.

I saw that and Sonny is on some bullshit sorry to say love the dude Just 2yrs ago when he was working for LU he claimed he was making more than he had made anywhere else. And also he worked season 4 which was forced to film an entire season in a month and he worked all of just 6 matches....and he made $4000 and this was at a point where no one had a f***ing clue who the hell Sonny Kiss was. Oh and turning down the lucrative work again B.S....while the likes of Penta , Fenix etc were all working AAA , Impact , MLW , indies. Again love the dude but so many holes in his memory on this one.

I remember when Impact hired a bunch of LU guys and pushed them, and this forum ripped them to shreds for it.
I've zero interest in seeing someone who is old and beat up parachuted into the top of the AEW card because he looked good on a heavily edited show, AEW need to work on their own talent and not become a topheavy disaster like WCW and TNA.

I'd argue that that "heavily edited show" was the best damn wrestling promotion to come along in years. People just didn't want to give it a chance.

I'd argue that that "heavily edited show" was the best damn wrestling promotion to come along in years. People just didn't want to give it a chance. It was a TV series, not a wrestling promotion. It being heavily edited, released like a TV show and shot like a TV show means that people who were old and broken down (like Gilbert el Boricua here) could be edited around and presented in a way to maintain their mystique. Ways that are just not possible with the way wrestling promotions run their shows. AEW is not going to be Lucha Underground, it never will be. It's going to be a wrestling promotion, a presentation of sports conducted by a bunch of crazy people.

It being good doesn't change the fact he would be exposed on a live show. It's easy to look good when you don't show the bad parts.

I would like to see him in AEW, but geez, he needs to cool it on social media. Almost every post I see on his Instagram is about AEW.
