Regarding the Pat McAfee/Adam Cole incident (possible work), I am genuinely curious if Adam Cole could take Pat. Pat has 100lbs on him and a few inches in height. If Adam Cole got beat up by a Punter, how embarrassing would that be?

We gotta accept that 9/10 wrestlers wouldn’t do shit in a real fight.

The thing is wrestling is all based on actual martial arts, amateur wrestling etc. Every single one of them should be able to take out a regular, untrained person with ease.

I don't see Cole taking Pat
Just because he is a punter doesn't mean he isn't a professional athlete who trained and had some of the best trainers on the planet helping him for his tenure in the NFL. Unless Cole knows legit holds, if Pat gets him he isn't getting up
In regards to other wrestlers, you don't have to be a professional fighter. If we are talking just a straight up brawl no holds barred, they should be fine. These are people at the peak of fitness and get punched, slammed and kicked for a living. They can take a few hits from normal people

Why Lmao? Please explain yourself. I didn’t know if you were memeing or not lol. I don’t see the average wrestler being able to protect themselves from legit strikes.

One of the biggest thing in actual fights is how you react to being hit. The regular human being don’t react well to it. Wrestlers, even though most hits are pulled, are mentally prepared for being hit. You don’t need to be a killer like Lesnar, Haku or Regal, to be effective against against every day people.

That's what CM Punk thought. I get what you mean, but I think being trained to look like you're doing something is much different than being able to do it for real. Like Michael B. Jordan looked amazing in the Creed films, but no way would I bet on him against an actual boxer.

All depends on who the other guy is. If a pro wrestler gets into a fight with a regular joe, the wrestler will win 95 times out of 100.
If a pro wrestler gets into a fight with someone with legit fight training, the wrestler gets pummelled 95 times out of 100.

If I had a gun, and Brock came after me, I probably run away and never come back. The fear of missing my shot and the inevitable repercussions would prevent me pulling the trigger. Even worse, accidentally shooting him in a non critical spot and making him madder.

I see wrestling as like a live-action action movie/tv show. I don't expect actors to know how to actually fight, and I don't expect it out of wrestlers, either.
Once upon a time, pro-wrestlers could legit take your lunch money. Thesz, Gotch, Harley, etc. Nowadays, not so much. I'm fine with that.
That all being said, pro-wrestling is a very athletic endeavor that attracts people who may have had some type of combat sport/martial art training. Even the ones that aren't trained in any kind of martial art are certainly in better shape than I am.
As for ones that are fairly well-known for having a degree of martial arts or shoot skills (and are somewhat recent talents):
-Brock -Bobby Lashley -Ziggler -Santino -Blackman -Nakamura -Heath Slater -Otis -Both guys in AoP -Both guys in Heavy Machinery -Angle
That's not even counting the old guys like Haku, Bad News Brown, etc. It's a mixed bag. Some are badasses. Some are Shawn Michaels (nothing against Shawn, but tough he was not).

Some wrestlers have training, some are huge. The rest would do about as well as the average person of their size/fitness level. Adam Cole would probably beat your average fat schlub in a fight, but against any other professional athlete the fact that he's 5'7" and built like a swimmer is going to come into play.
