So it appears that the MLW retro shows won't be running on BeIn Sports for at least the next little while. There's also reports that some wrestlers aren't getting paid (hoping that isn't true) and guys like Pillman Jr. are already popping up on AEW, at least on Dark, which makes things seem pretty shaky at the moment.
This isn't good news, obviously, assuming it's true: the wrestling world was settling into a nice situation with a healthier number of top promotions, "mid-tier" promotions, etc., and MLW was filling a nice niche and enabling a number of people to get noticed, gain exposure, and make a full-time living in the industry.
I guess if the worst comes to pass, where do you see certain wrestlers going, or want to see them go? More positively, is there a chance that this storm might pass and maybe things can come back up and running at some point? I don't have any deep info to go by, so I'm hoping others are more in the loop than I am.
If nothing else, it's a given that Jacob Fatu, Hammerstone, and Mance Warner are all likely to land some place nice, but there's plenty more talent to spare there.

Court Bauer has been dropping hints about taping new episodes of Fusion soon, so it could be that BeIn would rather wait for fresh programming instead of airing 17-year-old MLW Underground reruns.
It's pretty much a given at this point that Brian Pillman Jr. and Davey Boy Smith Jr. will be out once their deals are up. Mance Warner will probably follow a year later. I just hope that the talent that are signing new deals lock in a better pay structure that includes some kind of downside guarantee.

MLW already have their work cut out for them with AEW ongoing, and that situation is only going to get worse. They need new people.
New people that aren't Savio Vega.

Until last Saturday pretty much every day BeIN Sports was airing an episode of MLW Fusion. Been this way since like late April pretty much. Now nothing.

-The Dynasty to show up in AEW with Richard and Max confused because they can't tell WARDLOW & Hammerstone apart? -Fatu would probably be WWE bound -LA Park World Tour of Wrestling & Cooking? -Dan Lambert needs to be on National TV, WWE, AEW, doesn't matter. Have him be heel & give him a mic. -Gibardi also needs to be picked up.

Alex Hammerstone posted a real salty message about losing his job.
MLW might not be dead as a company but it sounds like they certainly aren't paying anyone right now.

-LA Park World Tour of Wrestling & Cooking? Whoever signs LA Park also needs to sign Spyder Nate Webb for the ultimate crossover cooking special. -Dan Lambert needs to be on National TV, WWE, AEW, doesn't matter. Have him be heel & give him a mic. Every once in a while, I think back to that legendary title belt promo from Impact. "YOU SEE THE CRACKED SIDE PLATE, THAT'S HOW YOU KNOW IT WAS HAWK'S!"

This week's Underground is still scheduled to stream on Youtube, so it's indeed prob'ly down to BeIn wanting fresh content.

MLW is my favorite promotion. It’s kinda like NWA a small roster of guys either on their way up or their winding their careers down. That puts on a great one hour show.
Like NWA due to Covid and poor management choices they might not be around this time next year. Which really sucks because it gave guys more places to work and more programming choices if you get tired of WWE’s crap.
Pillman has been very vocal about leaving and it looks like he already as a foot in the door at AEW
Smith’s contact is done in December either way.
Both of them were involved in title programs (Pillman vs. Reed and Smith vs. Fatu) before the pandemic started.
Besides them everyone else on the roster is still sending promos for MLW’s weekly enjoyable Pulp Fusion videos.
I hate to see it go but I think most of the guys will land on their feet.
Mance and Reed seem to be doing well in GCW,
Lawlor is getting his foot in the door with NJPW with their US tapings
The Von Eric’s and the Dynasty guys will probably get looks.
I hope they can stay afloat.

At the very least, their last angle with CONTRA decimating the roster in a sneak attack gives them an out when certain members of the roster aren't around if they start running shows again.
