From the man who brought you Money in the Bank!
It'll probably be fun - given Jericho's track record feels like he'll probably want to go all-out to make up for the poor reception to this last time - but the pin and submission thing feels pretty unnecessary. Only real reason to do that is if the plan's to have Jericho win but then got tossed into it afterward.
Also seems weird tonally to have this rather silly, inconsequential stipulation made then follow it with a vicious beatdown, though mood whiplash has been a recurring theme of this feud anyway.

Will Cassidy originally win but then have it reversed because he put Jericho in a tank of mimosa backstage and not the one at ringside?

I am guessing they put the "pin and submissions also work" so that there's any drama that isn't just "keep getting pulled off the cage/fighting over the casket door/trying to get out of the ambulance" kind of stuff that can make a lot of these kinds of matches tedious.

I like it, especially if Cassidy is getting the rubber match win here. It gives him win number two without Jericho having to concievably get pinned again so soon. It works for both guys and serves to humiliate Jericho further considering this is his own plan, Cassidy literally didn't even have to do anything, just on brand all around.

So it's a weaker Bucks Fizz then.

From a man who wholly appreciates great alliteration, Jericho sure loves him some:
Manitoba Melee Stadium Stampede Mimosa Mayhem Match Pineapple Pete (but he hates that guy!)
What's next? The Climactic Canadian Cage Climb Challenge
EDIT: Spelling!

I'm gonna use this opportunity to once again call for them to put their differences aside and become the force we all need in this crazy year. The Mimosa Maniacs!

I think this is pretty much a no DQ match would might explain why we are getting Matt vs Sammy on Dynamite instead at All Out.

So it's a weaker Bucks Fizz then. Yeah I was pretty furious we weren't getting a Bucks Fizz Brawl or something. ...I just had to wait and see whether Jericho was making his mind up. ...*rips off longer skirt to reveal shorter skirt*

So, the John Cena early special of losing a gimmick match without getting pinned ?

So, the John Cena early special of losing a gimmick match without getting pinned ? I wouldn't say that. He's already been pinned and he's going to lose here in embarrassing fashion.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m not knocking it. It’s a way to take an L without losing much. He will get embarrassed which Jericho can use to save his heat

No matter what two wins over Jericho makes him a big threat

No matter what two wins over Jericho makes him a big threat What's more important now is the OC follow up Assuming this is the last thing Jericho does before he leaves, OC needs something compelling I would actually give him Cody. If Cody getting smashed like that is the beginning of sending him off the deep end, I think a feud with OC would put him over the top. He beat Jericho were Cody couldn't and just in general him taking an L to OC would reinforce Cody arrogance Next best thing would be if they had PAC
