Watching some of Gaga’s old performances from 2009 and it made me remember the insane rumour that she was a “hermaphrodite”. I’m glad that now it’s an outdated term to people who are intersex cause yikes. People are so uneducated about these subjects.
But yeah, how the hell did that even start?

It seems to be an urban legend that gets stuck to a celebrity from time to time. I remember hearing the same thing about Jaime Lee Curtis. Of course, there's the infamous Richard Gere urban legend... that he starred in Dr. T and the Women. |

There seems to be a whole subculture on YouTube that believes that random celebrities are transgender and therefore evil, just because. Discovered this recently. A lot of transphobic people have some of the most insane conspiracies. It’s pathetic. |

I remember metals class in high school and there'd be entire conversations amongst the other students in the class about this. Like, weirdly detailed theories about how and why Manson would remove his ribs to blow himself. Metals class was f***ing weird. |

We need to go back to a time when the music biz had more wholesome insane rumors like people thinking Alice Cooper was the guy who played Eddie Haskle on Leave it to Beaver or Marilyn Manson was the guy who played Kevin's best friend on The Wonder Years.

I used to be one not to like Lady Gaga I admit, I respect her now, probably when she played with my favorite band Metallica helped, and I admit she's a very good artist.
I never partaked in those rumors though that she had a penis, that's just silly.

Not as much as, say, when Bret was accusing Shawn and Hunter of such but you still had Rock and Cena in the PG era doing the same later on. |
