Current day Bullet Club. KENTA & Yujiro are both less than 6 months away from being 40. Gedo, Jado & Dick Togo are all in their 50s making them much older than both Hogan & Bischoff at the peak of the nWo. Obviously the likes of EVIL, Jay White, Chase etc. are all still young guys & the level of cringe is nowhere near the nWo but still a similar principle. If we are talking New Japan, Suzuki-Gun is getting there. Douki is only 29 and ZSJ is 33, but Despy is 36, Taichi is 40, Kanemaru is 43 and Suzuki is 52. Granted the stable is younger now with Iizuka and Michinoku gone.

Hogan trying to look cool in 99 was so great I went 40 years without tattoos too. So did James Hetfield from Metallica. Getting them at an older age is not a midlife crisis. I'm not trying to look young in the least bit. I'm pretty sure Jericho started getting tattoos as he was shifting focus away from wrestling to music, and thus had less incentive to maintain a particular look. I feel Chris Jericho tries waaay too hard to be a rock star. I mean his band Fozzy, while not terrible certainly isn’t the greatest thing ever. Personally speaking, I felt his clean look and personality match, him getting all those tats looks forced and out of place.

Wasn’t on tv, but I just want to dunk on Hogan some more. What's the deal with his belt buckle? Well let me tell you something, brothers. Hot Topic was originally going to be called Hulk Topic, Jack. I was dropping a Brutus in the toilet and missed the call though dudes. Now they send me cool belt buckles yearly, brothers.

Shout out to the Magnificent Seven. I dunno what else to call an alliance of Flair, Jarrett, the Steiners, Luger, Bagwell, and Animal in 2001.

Team Madness? A re-roided Savage surrounded by young glamorous blondes... and Sid. Are you saying Sid wasn't a glamorous blonde?

I'd move it over to specify the Wolfpack over just the general "nwo". I disagree. The Wolfpac was definitely cool.....until January 4, 1999. nWo losing Syxx hurt them in the long run. After the firing of Sean Waltman, nWo then consisted of guys who had the personality of a black hole, minus Hogan, Bischoff, Steiner, Hall and the Giant. Wolfpac, on the other hand, they were the fun loving babyface version of the nWo and their pop came nowhere close to the pop that d-generation X received, under Triple H's leadership. He gained three guys that made dx soar to new heights: Road Dog, Billy Gunn and of course, the rival company of the WWF that fired Syxx, now rechristened as X-Pac. The day the nWo split was their eventual death. Why? The two groups had nothing to do with the original concept. One was referred nWo Hollywood while the other was nWo Wolfpac.

Yep. I can afford the good quality ones now. It's one of the nice things about reaching middle age. Also you don't have the stupid shit you would have gotten when you were younger. Had I gotten tattoos at 20, I would have a giant picture of Megatron on my back, the ICP Joker Cards, and my teenage sweethearts name on my body. Actually, ICP Joker Cards if done well could look really nice... Agreed with tattoos. I have SO many friends that either have stupid tattoos, or tattoos they wish they didn’t get (a whole lotta butt tats in my friend circle.) Thankfully the “dumbest”(at least from a tattoo/piercing perspective) was getting my nipple pierced at 18.

As far as I know, NWO Wolfpac was the top merchandise seller in 1998.
