Personally I think this is one of the best Corman movies. It's got all kinds of strange elements in it and the special effects are pretty cool for such a film (I really love the look of the crabs). It also has the added benefit of the monsters actually being threatening for once, unlike a lot of 50s stuff. I'm not surprised it has a special place is Corman's heart, when I watch this movie I can feel that there was a little bit of love in it... But maybe that's just me!
And how dare you insult the good name of SPICE WORLD. For some reason as a kid I had like 3 copies of it on VHS - some place must have been giving them away (Like when you got 5000 copies of Land Before Time by going to Pizza Hut). I had never heard a spice girls song outside of that movie.

I have this on a 4 pack dvd set. It’s pretty decent for what it is and the crab monsters look pretty memorable.

Ah attack of the crab monsters a great bit of schlock b movie fun. I was pleasantly surprised by it when I watched a fair few years back.
Who doesn’t love telepathic giant crab creatures?
