Guys. My dad is dying. He had a major stroke Monday two days ago and is in the ICU. In a vegetative state. Up to my mother, for when she’s ready to pull the tube. He’s only 59.
The main reason I watched WWE or Pro Wrestling in general is to watch With him. It was our weekly activity to spend time with each other because he always made the shows seems more exciting than it was. The main person and reason I’ve continued watching all these years. I’m not sure if I can watch pro wrestling the same again.
It won’t be the same without him.

I’m very sorry. My dad passed the same way 3 years ago. Honestly, it was nice being able to hold his hand for the 4 days he was in the hospital. Stay strong.

I'm so sorry. Wrestling was one of the things my father and I bonded over too, I still wonder what he'd think about things going on.

So sorry for your loss. My grandfather passed the same way, and the inbetween time was some of the hardest to go through. Thinking of you.

Very, very sorry to hear that news.
I can relate, me and my grandparents bonded over wrestling when I was little.
All of my love and sincerest condolences, Allison.

Shit. That is absolutely heartbreaking.
I wish there was more I could say, but there's nothing that makes any of this ok; I saw my uncle go at age 50 to a stroke brought on in part by Parkinson's disease, and it's just the worst.
Don't hesitate to open up if you need to, don't think there's anything wrong with you as you grieve, and don't ever be afraid to lean on those you love or even just those you like to be around or hear from. If you can be a support for other people in your life who are also feeling this loss, great; if you can't, that is no reflection on you whatsoever, and nobody can ever judge you for that. Your loss isn't fair, but you never have to be alone with the pain it brings.

I’m at the ICU for my dad w/grandma (seeing her son like this), mom and aunt in the hospital. The Neurologist described it as a “devastating stroke” with no chance of recovery. Can’t believe what I’m seeing now is the best it’s going to be.
Love you dad, I’m so sad I couldn’t have a family of my own yet for you to be a grandpa. I wasn’t ready and just didn’t expect you to be gone so soon.

I'm so sorry man. My dad has had some mini strokes and it's always in the back of mind that he could have a major one down the line. Condolences.

So so sorry to hear this. I lost my dad a couple of years back and it's really hard.
Just know he loved you and you loved him, and that you had many happy years together, and try and hold on to that.
It's gonna be very hard but you can get through this.
