Honestly when the time comes and Vince turns 103 it'll be Stephanie who takes over but lets just say it was HHH who ran the show. Do you think he'd go for any sort of inter promotion ppv with AEW or even Impact?

Unless they'd already worked out a deal to buy AEW, they'd be utterly mad to do this. Acknowledging the competition and treating them like an equal would just legitimize AEW as a credible alternative.

Nope. Your company is basically printing money. Why create an opportunity for a competitor to cut into your pie, no matter how large that pie may be?

The only way this would ever happen is if there was some sort of peril to wrestling as a medium, like when DC and Marvel teamed up a few times for their mutual survival, and that would require a whole lot of shit to line up just right. It is unlikely as all hell that it ever happens to the extent of some kind of full-on collaboration.
Now, would something happen like when TNA and WWE worked something out for an intended mutual benefit once or twice? That's more plausible, like if WWE said, "We want Arn and Tully to come appear on this Network special, in return we will grant this one favor", but that's about it, and even that isn't super likely.

I don't see either benefiting from it.
WWE is printing money hand over fist despite my opinions on the product, and AEW is the hot new kid on the block that's getting a lot of buzz and attention.
Plus it'd be a booking nightmare... look at Superclash

It's like when TNA wanted to get RoH and their big plan was... Ring of Honor loses every match ... and RoH passed... so they got GFW... and GFW got made to look like a bunch of losers... so why should we have ever cared?

Only if they'd bought AEW, and then it would be a network special, not a ppv.

This is pretty great considering it seemed like every time ROH and New Japan did something together, New Japan always seemed to be booked more strongly than them.

Yeah but there is an ocean of difference between New Japan and Late Dixie TNA.

Triple H is just Vince with better PR.
Im sure he would love nothing more than completely squashing AEW out od existence

Fun Answer: Yay, I get to post my Dixie-bragging-about-Voodoo Kin Mafia's-challenge picture! Not fun answer: it would be terrible PR for AEW to be in business with a company that takes immense amounts of money from the Saudi government specifically to promote the Saudi government, after the Saudi government had an American-resident reporter lured into a foreign embassy, then had each and every one of his fingers cut off while he was still alive as part of the process of torturing him to death, in a scene so nightmareishly {Spoiler}{Spoiler}{SPOILER: CLICK TO SHOW}gruesome that the torturers themselves had to wear earplugs to drown out the reporter's extended death-screams as they continued to saw his body parts off.

I think HHH would probably be smart enough to see the potential huge downsides here, like giving AEW more exposure than they already have and knowing that, to make it work, they'd have to sacrifice some of his talent to put over AEW talent, and the dangers of exposing more of his roster to the AEW environment, which could seem even more favorable up close, and really, would all of that and a host of other issues be worth it just so HHH could make some snide put-downs about and at Cody during the build-up to the cross-
Yeah, he'd do it. He'd 100% do it.

Vince wouldn’t pass up the chance to make WWE look like the underdog in a battle against a billionaire who got into wrestling on a lark and HHH would jump at the chance to do just that.

* Kenny Omega vs. AJ Styles
* Pentagon Jr. VS. The Fiend (Death Match Massacre w/ Cinematics)
* Roman Reigns vs. Jon Moxley
* Orange Cassidy vs. John Cena
* Daniel Bryan vs. Hangman Page
* Inner Circle vs. New Day
Bunch of possibilities. That's just the frosting!

There's basically no upside to it whatsoever for WWE.
