ok for wrestling i understand the term hardcore, i understand the use of it in hardcore fan base, but why the hell do people use hardcore to describe something?
(otherwords: i'm getting old and my brain doesnt just pick up on the random changes on words..... or it could just be that i'm too english for my own good..... one of my friends has pointed that out on occasion.)
edit* damn my spellings crap tonight.

I'm trying to understand what you're after here. A definition of "hardcore," in general?
Does the phase "hardcore sex" mystify you? I've always thought of it as meaning extreme, either in terms of loyalty (fanbase) or in explictness.
