I can't fathom these dudes going this hard without a live crowd to feed them. Just nuts. Real ass dedication to the craft right there. I expect an appreciation thread for these three later y'all. Looks like it’s up to me, then... But yeah, seriously, crazy match.

I thought it was dope and that finish was so damn genius. I've never seen anything like that ever in wrestling.

That was a helluva way to kick off a show. It’s insane that Jeff can still do the shit that he does, and it’s so refreshing to see Sami’s allowed to actually wrestle and be a threat again. I’m pumped to see Sami Dos Straps running around acting like King of the World for awhile.

Sami picking the earlobe and using a key after being carried was the smartest move in wrestling.

I would had made the thread but I watched the match after the show
Such a damn good match and creative finish that fits exactly to Zayn character. Also was nice to see two heels in a match and just go at it instead of trying to double team Jeff. It was truly every man for themselves and proving to see who was best
Zayn character gets a nice shot in the arm getting his title back. He’s beaten DB, Braun and now AJ and Jeff.

They all really brought it in this, I've been worried Sami is barely allowed to take bumps anymore but tonight showed otherwise in a brutal way. The finish was just genius, I can't think of another wrestling match that even used sleight of hand tricks.

I love seeing a wrestler do something genuinely smart that isn't predicated on his opponents being complete idiots.
Here, it genuinely felt like Sami outfoxed Styles and Hardy in a way that they could not reasonably have protected themselves against. Through no fault of their own, Sami was crafty and victorious.
Like, seriously, I feel like Sami here is what NXT tried their hardest to tell me heel champ Ciampa was, but wasn't great at actually earning that. This, though, was excellent.

A lot of Ciampa in hindsight was him being normal smart while Gargano went full Johnny Moron.

First time in ages I've watched all thru what Sami was doing. It was great! Friggin' WWE, give me El Generico The World Champ! OH MY GOODNESS, OH MY GOD! is one of the Michael Cole lines I won't forget for a while. That was great! That was when Jeff Hardy crushed between the ladders. LMAO. Memorable match from memorable ladder folks!

Jeff getting crushed by a ladder on his way out of the ring is one of the most horrifying spots I've seen in some time.

Easily goes into favourites from this year. Like Shotzi vs. Io, this one had great ether in it!

Best main roster ladder match in God knows how long, including MITB matches. Watching it I also got the feeling AJ's turning face soon, which I'm not crazy about (but him vs. Roman again should be good).

I loved it from start to finish, my match of the night no question. It also helps that Sami is one of my top favourites and I'm super stoked he won.

Great match with a very creative finish. I was hoping WWE hadn’t put their best match on first and the rest of the card would suck but thankfully I was wrong.

I knew Sami would win it. He just has something that AJ and Jeff don't.
A great big bushy beard.

Great match.
I have to wonder what Jeff has against his own spine though

That was the best ladder match I’ve seen in years. Wanted Hardy to win but I’m glad Zayn ended up winning.

Bonkers ass, creative match. I cringed so much at all the spots. Jeff-and-his-god-damn-plugs. I can’t stand Sami but it’s a credit to him as a performer and he was absolutely the right call to win.
