Wasn’t great by NXT’s standards, but had its moments. patrick needs to go the hell away, and the Theory segment dragged. Bummer about Ridgley too. Hope it looked worse than it turns out.
Was sitting closer to a six but the main event and Ember looking as good as she did bumped it to a 7.

Felt flat to me even without deducting points for Dream and Theory. 5 may be being generous.

This was a cooldown show but still fun but gawd damn did having the worlds most generic man out there for that long really hault this show I wont be shocked if the rating tanks because of that.

Solid seven for me. I've stated my reasons in the thread about the show but Io in leather was definitely a highlight. Low point was Ridge's injury which, hopefully, won't be too bad all things considered.

Giving this episode a 6. Didn't care about most of the show. Ember still has god awful promo skills, and so does Rhea. When Io Shirai cuts the best promo backstage and got the strongest reaction from the audience (when she was in the ring), that's when you know that Ember and Rhea are completely dead in the water.

Definitely felt like a restart of sorts and new beginnings type show. So overall a solid 7. Definitely not up to the last few weeks, but they can burn themselves out.
Loved the Takeover 31 recap.
Ciampa vs. Kusida: This match f***ing ruled. Both these guys feel fresh. Especially Kusida. I love it. Don't mind the finish. Neither should lose clean and Ciampa being pissed about winning like that was fantastic. Adds more layers to this 3 way feud? Can't wait to see it again!
Ember Promo: She'll never be great on te mic, but Ember has improved ALOT! I liked the promo.
IO INTERRUPTED! RHEA INTERRUPTED BIG DAWG AND Raquel
Drake and Dain lmao Perfect odd couple team!
UE 4 LIFE!
Drake & Dain vs. Everrise: THE MUSIC LMAO! Much better comedy than 24/7 shit! Dain punching him and than looking back as the music played was perfect.
Toni Storm Vignette: I really dug it. I hope she's healthy and can prove me and others wrong by being more consistent in ring.
Power Couple Walk: Indi Hartwell who'd she ever beat lmao.
Theory vs. Ruff: Ruff is pretty impressive. Needs a decent of cleaning up still, but he's fun. Theory took his beatings and lumps so I don't mind the win.
LUMIS!...vs. Theory: Glad Lumis is back! Glad Lumis won, but the match went too long.
GRIME TIME! TO THE MOON! Oh, he called Lumis a freak! Boooooooooo!
More Grimes!
Prime Target: Fanf***INGtastic recap of Finn/O'Reilly! Top notch. Love prime target videos.
Big Ridge: interesting promo. Cole got him that Benz somehow. I like it. Good start to the mystery imo.
PRIEST HYPE VIDEO! LET'S GO! Big Priest Cool oozes machismo.
Ridge vs. Burch: Fun little match. AWESOME post match fight, but Oney f***ed up Ridge bad. His knee blew out
Power Couple: 3 way coming soon with Indi...wait...
THATCHER TEACHES IS BACK! YES! I love this man.
Poor Ridge. Getting a big push and boom done. Hopefully he isn't snake bitten.
Shotzi vs. Xia Li: Awesome f***ing tank and awesome wrestler! Also I like Xia and her entrance. All aboard the Shotzi tank BOOM! BOOM!
oooooh Xia side story? I like this.
Rhea & Ember vs. Dakota & Raquel: Like Ember's new theme. Damn fine match too. And Ember looked good for missing 14 months.

It was weak by NXT standards, but I wouldn't call it boring or anything, so this one (barely) gets another 7 from me.
Things I enjoyed: the main event, the Oney vs. Ridge brawl (up until Ridge got injured), the stuff with the Garganos, Dain/Maverick, the Toni vignette (I'm rooting so hard for her to get right in the ring again because I adore her), Io in leather, and of course SHOTZI!!!
Didn't care for: the ending to the Ciampa vs. Kushida match (f*** off Patrick), Austin Theory taking up like 30 minutes (or what felt like it), and the lack of Robert Stone and Aiyah.

I asked this in another thread
Holland being apart of a cliffhanger ending of a takeover, I really didn’t understand him beating up Lorcan and Burch after a match with one of them. Seemed pointless and avoidable. Was that to put him over as a beast? Just felt like a weird follow up. Am I missing something?
