Miz and Truth attack people. Entire roster is scared. HHH gets no confidence vote. Johnny L is a tyrannical heel boss within like 10 min of taking over. *crickets* This is the most unbelievable thing in wrestling history. It wasnt just the heels egging the situation on. Matt Sydal did not feel safe! A lot of the faces had good reasons to not trust Triple H, if one of them had managed to convince a bunch of people Triple H was probably behind the whole thing, I'd have bought that more than everyone just thinking he couldn't handle it.

Vince as the higher power
literally the first wrestling related thing, even as a high school kid, that I knew made no sense what so ever
wiped away 6 months of storyline
Fidn't Hogan say something about Butcher being a spy in the Dungeon of Doom for him turning him face.....even though he took out Hogan's knee for a Starrcade match?

The Butcher storyline ended with him and Kevin Sullivan turning against each other, so that would be logical point for him and Hogan to have reconciled in kayfabe. However, there is still the issue of Zodiac, Hogan's "spy," being right there when Sullivan and The Giant attacked Hogan and shaved his mustache.

The Giant fell off the f***ing roof of the building. Hogan should have been arrested for murder not to mention the unbelievable strength it took, even for the Hulkster, to throw The Giant from the top of Cobo Hall into the river.

MJF being able to make Cody, and Jericho jump through all those hoops to fight him.
When literally all they had to do was go to Tony and say "Put me in a match with MJF."
Also the constant interference from in every Jeff Jarrett title match in early TNA. (See also the Elite in AEW)

Hogan should have been arrested for murder not to mention the unbelievable strength it took, even for the Hulkster, to throw The Giant from the top of Cobo Hall into the river. They never explained how Giant lived. Heenan said later they were gonna have Giant have a fish in his tights to explain it but they never did. Also, Hogan didn’t throw him, he just accidentally on purpose kinda knocked him. The real dumb part was Hogan attempting to one hand catch him from going over.

It was a good thing for Hogan that The Giant didn't die. Hogan already had the trauma of his father Andre dying days after Wrestlemania 3 after he slammed him to deal with.

Now that I think about it, and I think I may need to watch some episodes of Raw from late-winter to spring of 1998, but was it ever acknowledged that Austin was tag team champions with Shawn Michaels and with Dude Love? I know that most of the angle going into Wrestlemania mostly had to do with Mike Tyson, but there were some things that did involve Shawn, even though he felt like a third-wheel in that angle. As for Dude Love, that was mostly Austin vs. McMahon, with the Dude being McMahon's lead corporate sellout/hired gun for the storyline. Again, I may need to watch some stuff from that time. I'm only seeing this now, so it feels silly to respond nearly a year later, but why not? I don't remember them acknowledging the Austin/Michaels tag team run, which wouldn't be very necessary anyway, since they despised each other even during that run. However, the tag run with Austin and Dude Love was used to subtly set up their feud. It started when Dude interrupted a teased Austin/McMahon match where McMahon had used Austin's previous words to goad him into tying his arm behind his back. The reason why Austin was caught off guard when Dude started attacking the defenseless Austin was because they had tagged previously, and thus Austin didn't expect it out of Dude Love at all.

Would Chyna fighting for the women's title after she kayfabe-proved she can hang with the guys count? I mean, I feel they backed themselves into a corner with this. Yeah she left the company as she was Women's Champion, but how would they book her to lose it(most likely due to some sort of cheating)? Wouldn't that make whoever defeated her for it be able to challenge for the IC title and beyond? Again, in kayfabe.

On an episode of Saturday Night's Main Event when Andre The Giant was attacking Hulk Hogan, the entire face locker room came out and tried to pry Andre off of Hogan to no avail. He even no sold "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan's 2 x 4. However, during their mini feud later in the year, Duggan attacked Andre with it and he did sell it, even knocked The Eighth Wonder of The World unconscious one time. Maybe it was a harder and sturdier cut of wood that brought him down.

As soon as she became the WWF Women's Champion, she buried the rest of the competition.

How's this for a plothole, in September 1999, Chaz was alienated by the whole locker room and screwed out of matches for allegedly beating his girlfriend Marianna, in that same month, not year, month, Jeff Jarrett makes sexist remarks about women and beats them(including Fabulous Moolah and Mae Young) and nobody does anything about it. I was going to say Slapnuts attacked women wrestlers, which Marianna wasn't considered. But Jarrett did attack non-wrestler women too. I guess since he was a heel, people expected someone to stand up to Slapnuts? I guess?

True, but I couldn't sworn Duggan hit Andre in the back with the 2x4 before and he sold it. If someone can find me video footage of it that would be great.

If someone can find me video footage of it that would be great. Adrenaline and anger toward Hogan kept him from feeling the first one.
