Night 1 of Jersey J Cup rocked. Worth watching from beginning to end.

The Rock N Roll Express is riding one more time at Spring Break! The East West Express reunites and teams with Speedball Mike Bailey! Kerry Morton will be there too. I semi wanted to see RNR Express vs the Astronauts

I loved last years j cup but was underwhelmed by this one. Might be more due to my mood and expectations than its quality though. It had it's moments though, especially Nick Wayne hitting the Sasuke special on it's inventor, real clash of generations match.
But then I always think long running tournaments should be won by upcoming stars or maybe as a thankyou to a veteran on their way out. That makes a final featuring the last winner and a former gcw champion a hard sell. That belt feels beneath Masha.
I think it should have been Alex Price's launchpad. Also a bit annoying that a few I'd liked to have seen go further were in the scramble. Jake Cartwheel having his shoulder targeted and being unable to Cartwheel in the next round could have been cool.

Astronauts had two banger tag matches, the 6 on 6 was a cluster of the very most fun variety, Sasuke had two great matches and Masha made her way through the gauntlet and had a killer finale with Jordan Oliver. Alec Price will be fine. He’s on shows all over the east coast in a prominent position.

You know, I'm not a huge Bloodsport guy, but every year, there is the one match that always seems to justify the show's existence for me. This is that match for me.

Speedball's match in TNA in that environment was crazy so can't wait to see what they'll come up with when Ziggler is added to the mix.

Mostly because it was under-seen. Because holy cow did he and Kenny King have a fantastic match doing Bloodsport style

Went to the Wrestling Revolver show last week, so I figured I'd just watch GCW's return to Dallas on Fite.
Kind of kicking myself after watching that show now.

Only halfway through this Bussy vs Stoner Bros match did I realize that Stoners are Steiner parodies 🤦

Seeing Ruckus and Grim Reefer in the year of our lord 2024 warms my heart. First time seeing Kerry Morton and I’m digging the dorky narc gimmick

Sad state of affairs when Grim Reefer is in better shape and more agile than Ruckus 😔

Maki Itoh needs to be a regular in AEW or NXT by years end. She’s money I've said it before but TK not signing her is baffling. Especially now she's improved so much in ring. It's her goal to work there so purely business wise she'd probably be cheaper than someone like Taya but sell way more merch. Hell in theory she works for a partner organisation so doesn't even have to sign her, just give her a trial for a few months. But more importantly she gets over everywhere and will happily fill any role you gave her. How can you see her with Nick Cage and not think of all the possibilities with his roster? Now he has Stardom wrestlers available it's even less likely she'll make it there. Selfishly I'd much rather she stay in tjpw and gcw and would be gutted if she went to wwe, a toned down Maki would just be sad.
