Considering the events, it's just nice to see both shows held well with big cards.
I feel like AEW usually having bigger 18-49 is why their drop was a bit bigger, could see a lot of that demo tuning into the ongoing news, other than that, all things considered, they both did ok.

Not a bad turnout considering all that happened yesterday.
It was possible to have the news on in the background last night while watching either show more actively. The cards didn't hurt the ratings by any stretch. Hopefully they'll keep it up and draw better yet without the distractions.
