The Wrestlemania 4 one? You know the one about the Trump Plaza. It's an absolute classic. He was soo charismatic. And coked up.
Absolutely hilarious and memorable.
Watch some of his crappy WCW face promos for comparison.
Bloated steroid freak mid to late 80s Hulk with still a few strands of hair left is best Hulk.

The SNME where Perfect smashes the belt aired in December '89, right? That promo gets my vote.
Best overall Hogan babyface promo just misses the cut-off--it's his comeback announcement that he's going to wrestle Earthquake at SummerSlam.

It really is his best promo. He was before my time so most of his stuff is just kind a hokey but the Wrestlemania 4 promo is so hokey it comes back around to being amazing. It also forces one to imagine the massive pile of cocaine that existed just off screen.

The promo is so enjoyably nuts, but what makes the whole thing is Hogan doing the backstroke at the end.  Nothing sums up Hulk's 80s cartoonish persona like that. |
