This is awesome. I was wondering what the reasoning was.

Props to the wrestling business being absolutely mercenary.
You can just say 'hey look we got Jeff and Matt Hardy, neither of them work here any more!' and shove that shit online and get the clicks.
I'm guessing AEW wouldn't give a shit anyway, but WWE can't do anything about it either!

From what I remember, one of the first things to happen under the new Callis/D'Amore administration was to allow people to use trademarks they had done in Impact to other companies which is why EC3 was still EC3 in WWE and why he's EC3 in ROH and why Hardy was eventually able to just flat out buy the Broken trademarks during his WWE run.

They do so many cool things and yet f*** up just a few that are really bad

He’s the manager of the number one contenders for the Impact tag titles, Private Party.

Im pretty sure that the Good Brothers have it in their contracts that they can work for other promotions besides Impact. Just like Kenny, or Jericho, have the same sort of deal with AEW. I look at it this way, if the Good Brothers are appearing on Dynamite to wrestle, they must have some sort of contract with AEW. Impact maybe their “home” federation but they certainly work in AEW now, as well.

I wonder if we'll see either WWE or AEW ever do a full-on episode themed around a single wrestler's gimmick (i.e. a Dark Order-themed Dynamite or a Firefly Funhouse-style RAW).
