It's time to give Carmella her due

I've been one of her bigger detractors the last few years, but since she's come back, she sure seems to have gotten a lot better in the ring. She's not by any means the best in the division, but she's come a long way and is now at a point where she's better than people give her credit for.

I’ve long been on the “Carmella is not nearly as terrible as she’s made out to be” bandwagon. While not the elite of the division, she can absolutely hang with the top and not look completely out of place.

I don't think I have any interest in her as champ again, basically ever, outside of a transitional reign maybe sometime, but I'm sort of surprised they've never had her and Naomi win the tag belts.

Put her in the ring with Bayley or Sasha and she can have flat out good matches. They were part of the same NXT class and they bring out the best of her.

I think she has residual critics from her title reign, which really came at a bad time for her as a worker. She was having bad or boring matches, and she went through a weird phase when she was desperately avoiding taking strikes, so she would dodge out of the way making people’s offence look awful.

Overall I think she’s decent, a good hand to have around but probably not top level material. She’d be a good fit in the tag division if that was a thing.

One of the results of watch Billie Kay, Lana, Tamina, "Fiend Alexa", .... "wrestle" is Carmella looking better by default. But yes, she's not bad by any means.
The time off she took was a good decision too.

Carmella has and will probably always remain a middle of the road talent for me but definetly upped her stock with this reinvention of hers although sadly Reginal seems to have stolen her thunder.

Sadly now she has lost to Sasha yet again is likely not gonna be of any importance to the division going forward , would like to see this Carmella in NXT though.

Back when she was "Fabulous" I was on her fan train but somewhere she got reshuffled and i really got confused with the repackage in this new personality and i don't really have much invested in her current state but she's def still somewhere to eventually maybe be champion i just don't really have much for her personality now like i had before in the fabulous value

All fair, she is better than what people give her.

But we also have to acknowledge that Sasha and Bayley are really, really great. And can carry just about anyone to a decent match.

Is Baymella still a thing? Maybe they should have an on-screen relationship.
