Best example I can give is Family Matters, which many forget was a Perfect Strangers spinoff.

Since I never watched Cheers growing up, I always forget Frasier was a spin off.

Its easy to forget how many shows were spinoffs of All in the Family. Five, apparently. Knew about "Maude" and "The Jeffersons", thought "Archie Bunker's Place" was more of a sequel, not familiar with the others. Actually thought "The Mary Tyler Moore Show" had more but it's only three, although one made the difficult move of changing genres ("Lou Grant" was a drama and not a comedy).

Happy Days being a spin-off of Love American Style. Don't forget Wait Till Your Father Gets Home. It also started in Love American Style.

Mork and Mindy being a Happy Days spinoff was always a weird one.

The Simpsons is sort of a spinoff of The Tracy Ullman show.
Since the original shorts aired there.

Actually you were right the first time. There was MTM, Rhoda, Lou Grant, but also Phyllis. (unless you meant three spinoffs + MTM.) But...technically you could also add that Carlton Your Doorman cartoon. And St. Elsewhere contained references to TMTMS being, well, a show (the mental patient who thought he was Mary Richards). And knowing St. Elsewhere, that can drop us down a long rabbit hole.

Here's one...
Popeye (the cartoon version) was a spinoff from Betty Boop.
Aqua Teen Hunger Force came from Space Ghost: Coast to Coast.

Daria being a spin-off of Beevis and Butthead. Daria’s look and attitude is different between the two shows and the humour of the spin-off is cynical compared to the toilet humour of the parent show.

Aqua Teen Hunger Force came from Space Ghost: Coast to Coast. This one is... yes... with a but. the characters were originally designed for a Space Ghost episode... but the The Aqua Teen episode of Space Ghost wasn't created or released until after Aqua Teen was a thing. The Old Kentucky Shark episode was originally going to be the Aqua Teen episode but they obviously changed it before release... and then after ATHF became popular they finally made the baffler meal.

Trapper John MD was another example of a drama spinoff of a comedy (MASH), with the added effect of having a different actor as the title character.

I imagine there is some people that don't know that the first television show Alan Partridge appeared on was The Day Today

Funny story, I knew about TJMD before I knew of the original couple seasons of M*A*S*H. (by the time I was noticing, we were firmly into the B.J./Charles/Potter era)
