So just because there seems to be a lot of indie wrestling games coming out, I thought instead of posting stuff in the WWE video games thread, we might as well use this space here to do it. I know there's a Wrestling Empire thread already and people can still talk about that game here but I might as well try and give these other games the space to breathe. The Wrestling Code has a real mixed bag of awesome wrestling talent with a few reeeeeeally problematic people in there. Dunno how I feel about this one.
At least Max The Impaler is in. *Shrugs*

I wanna wait to see gameplay before I get too excited about The Wrestling Code. At least with the models, they'll end up modded into the 2K PC games if nothing else.

just curious would booker simulator games like TEW count in here or just indie wrestling games that have graphics and stuff? I don't see why not. I myself need to get to playing Journey Of Wrestling sometime, which looks really neat. |

For those of you curious about The Wrestling Code... what am I missing with Wrestling Empire on the Switch? I keep hearing how great it is but....I just can't get into it. It's definitely an acquired taste in terms of a game to play wrestling with. As someone who hasn't played and more watch, I wouldn't know what would be the moment it clicks since, well, the chaos is some of the appeal. |

I probably could have been more specific. The interface is clunky, the move selection super limited.....like, I get the appeal, the (sometimes lack of) physics can be fun...but for such a simplistic looking game it isn't terribly user friendly?
Still, I bought that overturned port-a-john Battlegrounds, I can give this a little more time

More moves are being added in the next update. I know MDickie's previewed the Styles' Clash on Twitter recently. I used to really not like the MDickie games, but I love the depth of the career mode. The idea of moving from territory to territory is so cool.

Yeah its a super cool idea, but - and I'm willing to bet this is my fault because I dont understand the system - as soon as I signed a contract somewhere they changed my CAW that I worked hard on to have Umaga hair/facepaint, which also changed it OUTSIDE of career mode... I'm guessing I should have 2 separate CAWs?
