It's not a repeat, but it sure feels like one as tonight, Raw plays host to a match we've seen many times last year. Scheduled for tonight: - Drew McIntyre vs. Randy Orton yet again, but this time, will Sheamus make his presence felt after betraying Drew Mac last week? What will Alexa Bliss have in store for Orton this week after she scared Randy with Papa Shango goop during his match with Edge last week? - Charlotte Flair & Lacey Evans's face-off. Lacey has been a thorn on Charlotte's side for the past few weeks, apparently wanting to make sweet love with Ric Flair. How will tensions boil over with The Queen and Shorter Non-Goth Lady Dimitrescu? - RETRIBUTION will likely continue their war with Xavier Woods and the injured Kofi Kingston after Woods scored a win over Mustafa Ali last week. - Has Edge made a decision on his WrestleMania opponent? All that and other repeated rematches tonight on Raw at 8/7c on USA, Sportsnet 360, & BT Sport.

Hopefully something that brings me joy instead of booking that was Royal Rumble!

Kinda glad that Edge at least gets a memorable run out of all of this. Earlier his comeback felt so dead.

Eagerly awaiting whatever nonsense happens with Orton/Bliss tonight.

Reminder:
If Asuka turns heel tonight on Charlotte, it is 100% warranted and justified, no matter what WWE says or will inevitably try and claim.

I'd say tonight's Raw was already worth it for letting me casually drop a Lamb Chop reference in the title.

So Charlotte and Lacey face to face...only for Ric and Charlotte to humiliate Lacey and "reunite" because something about family. Cue Asuka confronting Charlotte Asuka and Lacey are now united babyfaces against a heel Charlotte Asuka will then lose her title to Charlotte so they can do Charlotte Vs Lacey at Mania for the title Now cue sad Matt Damon

The babyfaces booking on Raw is something disturbing. Not only Charlotte. Last week Xavier Woods challenged Reckoning to a match on Raw Talk. A girl. At home with COVID at that moment. That's a true face.
Drew is the only one not looking like an idiot for now. I hope they dont ruin Edge somehow.

I appreciate Drew being able to poke fun at things instead of just going, "How dare you marks complain from your mom's basement about them booking a match that's been done a million times already!!!"

Once again people are complaining about seeing the same match over & over again. We haven't seen it this year. They were supposed to wrestle, but then McInytre was sick. This will only be their 8th 1-on-1 match since 2011 & 6th since 2020, but they always have great matches. Thank God there was no social media in the 80s or 90s or people would complain about Steamboat VS Flair and Sting VS Flair happening over & over again. If they have great matches, why should it matter if you see it again.

This match has been ran into the ground over the past 6-7 months and it should be completely done by now. Both Drew and Orton aren't going to benefit from this at all.

For me, personally, the SummerSlam match is the only one I could see myself going back and watching again. And I think it still annoys a lot of people that they continued feuding even after the Ambulance Match, which was booked perfectly in terms of Orton getting his comeuppance. If the feud actually ended there and this was their first match since then, people wouldn't be as irritated IMO.

We all know that we're probably not even going to get a match. Sheamus is going to interfere or there will be some creepy appearance by Alexa. So, just relax and enjoy the show.

Because WWE is stagnant, and full of stale matches. Would it really hurt to do something like Drew vs Shelton Benjamin? Mix the roster up. In the Rock and Wrestling, and Attitude Eras the roster regularly mixed up. Main eventers clashed with lower card guys, interacted with tag teams, and had friends lower on the card. That allowed for fresh matches.

We need to see a WWE remake of this. And this is why Drew makes a good face of the company. He doesn't take it too seriously.
