So you've got...
- Guy who Drew's beaten 800 times in the past few months.
- Guy who lost to Jaxson Ryker a few weeks ago and made a hobby out of getting his ass kicked by Lashley.
- Guy who has Money in the Bank and thus has no reason to bother with putting himself through this.
- Guy whose only singles win since October was against John Morrison who couldn't defeat a Styrofoam cup.
Meanwhile you don't have Lashley or Keith Lee.
The only part of this match that makes sense is AJ.

I feel like it’s because all these guys can afford to take the loss. Lashley’s clearly being saved for something having taken no clean pinfalls in nearly a year, and Lee apparently isn’t established enough to take anymore clean pinfalls, so he can’t seemingly have any more world title shots until he’s being set up to win it. It’s blatantly filler and busy work for McIntyre.

Yeah.. I think it's fine. These are all ex-WWE champions and so well-established for dipping in and out of the main event so they have some credibility. I think WWE have telegraphed the fact that Drew is going to WrestleMania as champ, so they just need bodies in the chamber. They rely on the spectacle of the match type to sell the event.

Its a thing since the WWE network started where there are PPVs that are basically RAW and SD but more wrestling. Which is fine when the price is 10 bucks idk who spent the 30 to 40 or whatever before the network for some of those filler PPVs. Plus with the move to Peacock this screams extra filler show.

Lashley and Lee are getting each other, which makes sense story wise.

I hear you but I think it's fine for this particular show and will result in a good match. I think Lashley gets Lesnar at Mania and/or he's next up for Drew. I could see Lashley/Drew at SummerSlam.

Guys that can take the L essentially
I'm hoping they put the U.S. title on Lee so Lashley can go for the WWE title at Mania. It is his time

I will be surprised if Lashley is not the one to take the title off of Drew at Mania and Lashley gets a few months as champion before Lee finally comes calling to win the title from him.
And if it is then we are likely to see very similar booking...where Lee's US title reign is used to build him up and he then loses it in a triple threat without taking the pin so they then can then move him into taking the title off of Lashley at Summerslam.

It’s not very exciting that’s for sure but yeah they are essentially all there to lose. Miz being in there is dumb but there is a slight intrigue whether he could cash in after the match or whatever. Sheamus is the only other guy in there that is interesting in terms of where do they go if Drew just pins Sheamus in the Chamber? Do we not get a one on one match? I’m assuming Sheamus doesn’t get pinned and gets taken out somehow in the buildup or during the match.

I subscribed to the network on Jan. 31 so I could watch the Rumble. I'll still have it on Feb. 21, so I'll watch Elimination Chamber anyway.

It was also pointed out watching the Wrestletalk Raw review that Kofi Kingston is not in this match despite being a former WWE Champion.
Which shows what WWE thinks about him at this point. I mean he’s just come back from injury though so there is that but yeah I don’t think that went into WWE’s thinking.

Kofi gets attacked and Sheamus gets inserted in his place. Everyone blames Sheamus until Ali steps up saying he did it He's going take Kofi dream away just like Kofi did his Very simple story telling

When everyone is former world champion... it kinda loses it importantance.
I was thinking that was every former champ but the Fiend and thought it at least it made sense on paper nope Braun and Kofi. Weren’t included.
Whatever the match should be alright.

I just really wish wins and losses mattered. It's my biggest problem with the product. Miz and Jeff are former champions, yeah, but they really have no business being in this match.

Like, I get why Kofi's not there but you could easily do something with that in the Kofi/Ali story if you really wanted to but for him not to even be mentioned seems weird. Like, I think the Chamber match was best when there was someone in there you didn't expect and made an impact. Drew himself being one of those people a good few years ago.

Ideally, it is meant to be the opposite It is supposed to be more important because former champs meaning everyone who has been at the top of the mountain at some point in their career. If you can beat this men, you "earned it". The problem is you can poke holes in that logic when you start to see the champions on deck

I think it is, though, the Chamber can be brutal, and it looks like for right now they want to limit Kofi to tag matches as much as possible until he’s 100%

What have I been missing with Lashley? Not knocking the guy by any means, just that what has happened with him recently that gives any indication or impression that he's in line to challenge Drew at mania? I haven't got that vibe at all.
