The Man in Black woulda been 75 on Monday, and ya'll know what a hero he was to me, so I thought I'd mention it.

Love is a burning thing And it makes a firey ring Bound by ones desire I fell down into a ring of fire
I fell into a burning ring of fire Went down down down and the flames went higher It burns burns burns that ring of fire that ring of fire
The taste of a love as sweet when hearts like ours meet Hide before you like a child Ohhh but the fire went wild
Chrous: I fell into a burning ring of fire Went down down down and the flames went higher It burns burns burns that ring of fire that ring of fire and it burns
I fell into a burning ring of fire Went down down down and the flames went higher It burns burns burns that ring or fire that ring of fire
The taste of a love as sweet When hearts like ours meet Hide before you like a child Ohhh but the fire went wild
Chrous: I fell into a burning ring of fire Went down down down and the flames went higher It burns burns burns that ring of fire that ring of fire
One more time
I fell into a burning ring of fire Went down down down and the flames went higher It burns burns burns that ring of fire that ring of fire That ring of fire That ring of fire
We miss you Johnny.

How 'bout that...I was listening to The Essential Johnny Cash on my Dell DJ at work today. I have this awesome Cash poster in my apartment: a picture of him in a field with his guitar, and under that this simple caption: "Johnny Cash: An American Legend." Damn straight.
My favorite Cash find has to be the clips of him on Sesame Street. Further proof of just how cool he is.
Oh, and Walk the Line won the Grammy for best soundtrack.

Cool guy. He certainly knew talent. Man, that photo looks creepy. Anyway, Cash ruled. He made country music cool. RIP Man In Black.
