Ahmed Johnson- Prolly sounds crazy since he was terrible in the ring, and was a upper midcard bbabyface, and won the IC title, but i feel like it was a missed opportunity. If Ahmed Debuted today- u give him time in NXT and the PC to improve, I Could see him easily fitting into the Bobby Lashley role, and taking it to the next level. Dudes today are so much smaller, Ahmed would be a wreck machine and would stick out much more today..espically with the shape the world is in today- I think Ahmed today would be a world champion Ahmed is not an example of this. He had precisely one problem - his catastrophically unsafe work, which made him injury prone and dangerous. He wasn't a man ahead of his time or behind it, he was a man who could not stay healthy nor be trusted with his co-workers' safety.

Zack Gibson having old grannies' shoes and knitting needles being thrown at him in the old World Of Sport era.
Elias is a Rock'n'Wrestling gimmick for sure.
Owen Hart doing Y2J's embarrassing dad/list of Jericho gimmick would be amazing.
123 Kid in current-day NXT, basically copying Leon Ruff's ascent (or vice versa) .
Aleister Black vs The Ministry
Bull Nakano in NXT

I remember reading how Braun was terrible, and how Sheamus was injuring people left and right when he debuted. He had talent, charisma, and a great look. you put him at the PC and let the dude learn, he doesnt have to be the next kurt angle...

What Braun and Sheamus also had was willingness to learn how to work. Ahmed's other problem was that he was an asshole.

Young Mikey Whipwreck in NXT would be on par with Sammy Zayn’s run as the “heart and soul,” of NXT imo

I said this in another thread a while back, but... I believe that Sam Houston would have done much more in this era of wrestling than he did in his era. One person said Sam could be almost like another Hangman Page if he were around, and his size (considered relatively small in the 80s WWF) would have not been that much different than a majority of the top guys today (Rollins, Cole, etc.) Ken Shamrock might have been a bigger deal in more recent times too with how UFC is a lot bigger now than when he was in wrestling. Heck, he might have been pushed as a rival to Lesnar at least once. Oddly enough Sam Houston is still wrestling. Or at least he was as recently as 2018. But he is out of his f***ing mind. He’s had a string of legal problems. Beyond that he popped up as a recommendation on my Facebook for some reason and I took a glance out of curiosity. Out of his f***ing mind.

Prime Paul London in NXT, letting him have a certain amount of input with creativity would have been gold!

Necro Butcher in prime ECW Era would have been a perfect fit.
Essa Rios would have been fantastic today imo, bis Moonsault is still one of the coolest ever.
Bam Bam Bigelow in any era but many imagining him today with the workrate now is a hell of a thought...
I also feel like if it happens later on in wrestling history, Heel Doink/Matt Bourne is a much bigger star and deal than what it turned out to be, though that's also factoring in Bourne's own demons.
