1. Quantum Leap: Despite several rumblings Belisario was close to working out a final script and that a new spin-off TV Movie focusing on Sammy Jo was in due to premiere at any moment throughout the 2000s, it never materialized. Scott Bakula could still do it, but Dean Stockwell is up there now in age and isn't too well from what I hear, so it'd lose a bit of the magic. Nobody has expressed an interest in reimagining it for the small or big screen.
2. Sliders: Mentioned this in a previous thread. After two solid seasons, it went off the rails big time and it's entire multiverse premise should have made it an easy fix for any bad story decision...but no, it was played fairly straight forward and it became a weekly action thriller pastiche instead of something with thought and social commentary put into it. Ended in 1999 and despite the increasing focus on multiverse storytelling in comics, television, and film, hasn't yet found legs as a revival or reimagining (although Jerry O'Connel is reportedly trying)
3. Babylon 5: With half it's cast dead, a thorough revival is nigh-on impossible, but perhaps the recent 4K remaster on HBO Max will attract interest and give it some life again. Perhaps a reimagining isn't quite necessary though, the show got to tell it's five year story without interruption and it's only the spin-offs that were left with minimal closure, and the spin-offs weren't particularly great.

I was surprised back to the future didn't get rebooted with 2015 being the present and 1985 being the past year, but I hear the guys who made it have refused to allow it to be remade.

I'm surprised they haven't redone Back To The Future, with Marty (or Maddy considering Hollywood's gender swapping) going back to 1985.

I’m almost positive that not only have Gale and Zemeckis shot down any attempts at a remake or reboot they also have it stipulated in their wills that their families aren’t allowed to sign off on a remake or reboot after they die.

Robert Zemeckis and Bob Gale has been very vocal that there will never be a reboot/remake as long as they have anything to say about it.

The game show Remote Control was a pretty big deal to 80's MTV, I'm kinda amazed nobody ever pulled the concept out of mothballs for a remake a la Double Dare. It seems like it would be a perfect fit for modern MTV that favors reality TV over music.

The Dream Stone is another one. I've had a long-lasting friendship with it's creator for well over nineteen years and he deserves to be just as big now as he was then with that show, but as I understand it, Mike didn't 'play the game' the way some bigwigs wanted him to and it cost him opportunities.

Cheers
Other then maby a movie in real time catching up where the characters have been since the series ended I hope they never reboot it. I'm saying this because I like the show and don't want to see it bastardized.

Green Hornet.
Bring back a nice, dark, gritty, vigilantes-punching-out-villains show like they had back in the 60’s. Something to make us forget that awful piece of crap movie that Seth Rogan made.

Im surprised Rush Hour hasnt got the remake treatment yet.
For TV shows, Space: Above and Beyond. I was expecting a remake after Battlestar Galactica remakes success to piggyback off it.
