I'm not even a comic book fan but this seems like a really cool idea.

Next up should be Batman '95, based on the Joel Schumacher Bat-Movies.

Excellent choice for writer of the Superman '78 books. Roberts' Man of Tomorrow digitals were the best the character had been since Rebirth concluded.
Too bad it's a midquel though, and not something that takes the place of Superman III/IV or Returns.

New books for Superman and Batman? What a refreshing choice!
Seriously this is a fine idea I am sure some people will like
Michael Keaton can buy it and remember what he used to look like!
Actually give me a Birdman comic

So what's Bruce Wayne doing dressed up like Batman? how do YOU know where he was? as he was ducking into the shadows next to robert wuhl and not totally not ironically wearing a batman cowl ... oh i'm taking this from memory as i cannot find the bloody box i put the batman89 comic adaption in and i have no idea if robert wuhl wore the cape too ...

This isn't the first time DC has done something like this.
They had comic book series based off of Adam West's Batman and Linda Carter's Wonder Woman.

FINALLY. BATMAN 89. This isn't the first time DC has done something like this. They had comic book series based off of Adam West's Batman and Linda Carter's Wonder Woman. That was exactly when Joe Quinones pitched BATMAN '89 the first time. This was one of those wonderful and sadly rejected ideas that lingered for a long time in fans' heads, the artists' head and evidentially in the editors' heads too because at long last here. we. ARE! And to get Sam Hamm involved too, no less. Boom!
