This shit is the exact type of shit that turns casual fans off to WWE. Their greedy and "NOTICE ME" fall all over themselves attitudes when someone even remotely famous says they're a fan of the show, to getting upset over something that is literally just a silly god damn game that all major sports go through and have been just fine in doing, including when they did it with the Males. Now because it's a tier for women they're being judged and humiliated and Nattie has to make a post where her friends have to give her positive reinforcement? For f***s sake I'm sorry but get over yourself.
This just highlights some major insecurities on some modern wrestlers part, and how toxic some of them can really be on social media. Just the major disconnect involved with wrestling and the mainstream media even when they are on a network like FOX.

Honestly, I'm with Natty on this one.
Yeah it's a fairly common game that exists in fantasy sports, but it's not the players' employers (and yes, WWE on FOX counts as an employers as it's the Twitter account of the TV show that employs her) posting them.
Imagine if your job's company Twitter made a public post of the same game and ascribed the same dollar values based on how much they think each employee was worth, and you were put at the absolute bottom tier after over a decade of sacrificing your body for them.
Not every viral trend needs to be participated in. This was demoralizing and bad optics.

If they only thought Nattie was worth the equivalent of a buck, she definitely wouldn't be employed. The tiers are based on current perceived rankings, and the dollar value is just so you have to weigh and balance your choices when playing. It has nothing to do with their athletic credibility, or employment sentiment. Also the bottom tier would be all the people not included. Do you really think they're upset over being overlooked for this game?

This is the equivalent of pro athletes getting insulted over their Madden or NBA2k OVR.

Of course they're not literally worth one dollar, but it's not like the dollar values here are randomized when the most prominently showcased talents are at the top with the highest value.

No it isn't. These "optics" only exist cause Nattie got hurt over it, dug her heels in, and a bunch of Twitter stans echo chambered her sentiments. This is same woman who was more than happy to do a farting gimmick designed to make her a joke, but is now playing humiliated that a nothing game put her on the lowest tier, even when she hasn't done anything of note in ages. Honestly, she's probably lucky they even cared to remember to include her to begin with. These games always have rankings, that's the point. If she was getting a solid push then she'd be worth more in the game. Seriously, if these wrestlers are that thin skinned that they're not $5 or whatever they think they deserve, they should be looking into why they're not getting those positions on the show than crying about a game on Twitter that no one would have given a second though about beforehand. It's straight up pathetic.

What really struck me was that Nattie did a Notes App statement.

Bayley, Io, Rhea, Raquel, Liv.
Nat’s reaction is eye-roll worthy.

In kayfabe it actually makes sense if she would look it for two seconds
$5 - 4HW
$4 - Raw, NXT UK, NXT champs, Rumble winner
$3 - Tag champs. Hot free agent. Evil devil woman, both of which will be probably be involved in high profile matches at mania.
$2 Two teams that tag title matches soon.
$1 Tag team that always comes close to winning titles, then stronger half of other tag teams. Nattie over Tamina, they probably would have put Lacy here even though she’s number one contender, but she’s pregnant so Pey Pey instead.
That’s why these people were included and where and why talent like Carmella wasn’t.

It's straight up pathetic. No, you're missing the point. It's the company that employs her giving optics that her worth is substantially lower than her co-workers. It's a niche game and if it were some random person on Twitter upsetting her with it, then that could arguably be a case of thin-skin. This is her place of employment doing it on their social media. It's bad optics for any employer to attribute a public value to an employees performance whether it's a "game" or not. And it's not like she threw a tantrum. She, and Alexa (and Cesaro and Shelton and others IN the company) have expressed the same dissatisfaction with the company's choice to tweet that and leave it up. It's bad optics.

I just don’t think this is the kind of thing you can do with wrestling, because the best talents are only the best because they’re written to be so, unlike real sports where it would be based on their legitimate skill and/or success at that given time.

Of all the guff they read in their mentions from the creepy mouth breathers, the ultra possessive and sensitive stans and the "ackchyually your character/workrate should..." 'experts' and this is what sets them off? People are weird. Although Nattie has been there the longest so maybe that jarred her and dare I say she was raised in a family that has been known to take slights to heart (no pun intended).

They did one of these for best Survivor Series wrestler of all time back in November and Randy Orton wasn't even included. That should be a bigger controversy than this.

I probably wouldn't be happy if I was in a tier below Lana, but complaining about it in a worked sport seems stupid. You're only as good as you're booked to be and Natayla isn't booked to be very good. That's all it is.
