I’m watching the show in LA and the commentator says they’re doing everything the way it should be for TJPW. This was after I had some bald guy yelling the intros to me in English and the Up Up Girls were nowhere to be found. Brother…you’ve already lost this argument.

I loved the new years show, like the best TJPW shows lots of variety and good pacing that helps carry any weaker parts. Easily the best standard singles match I've seen from Masha. Also the best Aja Kong match I've seen in a long time.
I looked into what happened with Hikari Noa and it seems she made friends with a superfan and gave her contact info for others on the roster and got suspended. Not sure if true but seems likely as it would fit the reactions from everyone more than an injury. Damn the tag titles can't catch a break, that seems to apply to most promotions I watch latey, although the new champs have great chemistry and I think could have a great run.

Grand Princess looks a great card. Just hope Brookes can do commentary and wrestle. Can't wait to see Pom kick a giant panda in the shins.
Tag Team Match Andreza Giant Panda w. Haruna Neko, Kaya Toribami vs Pom Harajuku, Raku
Tag Team Match Moka Miyamoto, Juria Nagano vs Toga, Wakana Uehara
Singles Match Rika Tatsumi vs Masha Slamovich
Tag Team Match Aja Kong, MAX THE IMPALER vs Hyper Misao, Shoko Nakajima
Special Single Match Minoru Suzuki vs Maki Itoh
Tag Team Match Yuka Sakazaki, Mizuki vs Chris Brookes, Emi Sakura
International Princess Championship Match Yuki Arai (c) vs Yuki Kamifuku
Princess Tag Team Championship Match Ryo Mizunami (c), Yuki Aino (c) vs Suzume, Arisu Endo
Princess of Princess Championship Match Miyu Yamashita (c) vs Miu
And the rest of the rookies in two tags.

If my understanding of the time difference is correct, and it rarely is, the big show is on in less than ten hours or so. The card is in the post above and it looks real good.

I really enjoyed the show. Won’t say any spoilers as I’m sure many US folks will be watching on catch up. Feels like a new era and I’m confident they can succeed. All they need now is for Moka Miyamoto to get more chances in the upper card and it’ll be perfect. I’d like her to win the International Princess Title.

Got to the three title matches earlier so I was past the major spoilers. Absolutely fantastic three match streak to end a big annual show. {Spoiler}{SPOILER: CLICK TO SHOW}And absolutely right results across the board for an exciting new TJPW landscape. Kamiyu and Aino seem poised to move up to the Princess of Princess title picture in the wake of their losses, while Watanabe and Daisy Monkey feel absolutely made as the new titleholders.

OK that's long enough, spoilers ahead.
Another great show, the ones with princess in the title don't miss. The variety they get from a small roster and a few regular guests is always impressive.
I think other shows may have had higher highs but nothing to match this as a statement for the future. Looks like the generational fueds will be central especially with the success of the recentish tag match, will be interesting how Itoh and Misao are included, I guess they're old guard despite never reaching the very top. Even the now current generation have a a lot of potentional below them. Unlike most fueds like this the pillars are still young and in their primes too.
I hope Miu gets a good run, there's very few better faces out there, she sells everything and really draws you in, even just the way she poses after a tackle. Shame those that say there's no selling and phycology in wrestling these days will never get past the comedy to watch the top tier matches because they're usually the antitode to those feelings (the odd Yuka match aside).

Very rare Meltzer rating for a tjpw match.
Miu Watanabe vs. Miyu Yamashita: 4.5
He called ut one of the best women's matches of the year so far. Makes me wonder what he'd have given Miyu vs Masha.

Miyu is going to the states or a while. I saw two months somewhere. Working all over for different promotions.
