The "it's not who you think" line was probably referring to Punk right? Can't imagine who else it would be. He's the first guy that popped into my mind. I thought HHH lmfao, shows what I know Getting it in there again that I'd be so stunned if The Acclaimed's rap stuff was foreshadowing to John Cena the same way Darby in the rafters was for Sting. Or if Colt's "I brought the Pepsi" line in BTE was about Punk in spite of...well everything those two went through. Duuuuude, that’d be a get. Moxley did recently say if he could get any legend right now it'd be Christian. Now I’m going to be disappointed if it’s not Christian Cage. Edge and Christian running shit in the two major promotions again in 2021 omgggg what is wrestling

No way it's Punk unless he buried the hatchet with Colt. My guess is Lesnar (god I hope not) or Batista.

Lesnar I can see since him and Show are cool I'm ok with Lesnar if he actually decides he wants to work. Given what AEW has brought out of the likes of Sting and Shaq recently, Brock's still a high calibur athlete even if he's older. If he shows up to work then it would be a huge deal. If he shows up just to do 20 German Suplexes and 10 F5's, it ain't gonna work and I'm sure he'd know that. But Brock with creative freedom also intrigues me... Brock's a really fun, goofy character when he's able to be. Lest we forget the week or two he was allowed to do the Money in the Bank Boombox. Dude could reinvent himself enough for it to be fun, but we'll see, it's a huge reach if he'd be the one Show's talking about, but it would absolutely be a huge deal for AEW with all the press and connections Brock has.

Cabana still silences anyone in his Twitch chat that asks about Punk, but acknowledges Scott Goldman jokes... so no Punk. Too much bad blood for that locker room.

This. Got cleared and returned at Royal Rumble. Yet he's on alumni section on WWE.com. Duuuuude, that’d be a get. www.wwe.com/superstarsIt's strange for a guy who made return to ring at Rumble. To be moved ex WWE superstars already seems strange. They did it with Big Show about a week Paul Wight signed with AEW. So could be something to this. It's possible Rumble was one off appearance. Then came to sign Christian to new deal. AEW offered him more and he leaving. But that's all speculation of course.

I thought I heard that too, on The Bump he said everything is TBD, but that he would like another team run with Edge and has a lot of dream matches in WWE, but on the other hand it HAS been weird how little he was mentioned post Rumble (or not given how they treat Christian)...

Lesnar will work but WWE/Vince let him get used to that style Brock while uptight doesn't mind making himself a goof and if you asked him to lay down for Marko Stunt he would do it because this is a job to him I can see Cody making a good pitch to him and with someone like Show there who he respects, it wouldn't be a bad transition and would be a big game changer for them since while he doesn't have to be final boss Brock like he was in WWE, that man is still going to be hard to beat in AEW

Also, considering he’s the headline for the HOF this year and Hollywood’s been really put off about letting former wrestlers wrestle after Rock got injured twice...pretty sure it won’t be Batista, either.

His is also listed as being available for a limited time.

Edge most likely has plans for him and Christian but he also wouldn't get in the way of Christian wanting to chase something either
