Always ready for more JoJo!
And this brings us closer to Part 7, which, from what I can understand, the plot can be boiled down to "In the 1860s, the President Of The United States organizes a cross country horse race that is actually a plot to collect the body of Jesus Christ"
And I'm just like, Yes. Give it to me, as soon as humanly possible.

Finally we'll have an animated Jolleen! And perhaps the most bonkers ending in the most bonkers of series.

This is the one I been looking forward to the most As I said I spoiled myself on the ending but don't know a ton of details on the plot so it will still be brand new as opposed to the other seasons when I came in fully blind

Yay... I hate this part. Hate it. Hate it. Hate it.
Without going into spoilers. The ending utterly sh**s the bed, and ruins the entire JoJoverse. A disapointing conclusion that makes the entire series all pointless.
Why can't we just skip to part VII. At least that part has the benefit of sounding totally bats*** insane.

This is the final part that was entirely weekly.
Part 7 started weekly then switched to monthly. Part 8 has been entirely monthly, and has been going on for a solid decade, at this point.

Gotta ask, why the long periods of time between series to be animated? I think Stone Ocean, in the manga ended well over a decade ago, no?

It can't be helped. From what I understand anime studios are smaller than those of their western counterparts. They can't devote time and resources to everything at once especially with new shows coming out every three months.

This is not a shot at the One Piece anime since I think they handle it well as they can. But you can clearly see the difference between the studio that does Jojo vs One Piece when it comes to quality. Plus the least the animators get exploited, the better

Gotta ask, why the long periods of time between series to be animated? I think Stone Ocean, in the manga ended well over a decade ago, no? 1. They devote a lot of time in resources to make sure this is all the way down to a T. Outside of minor changes, they basically go word for word from the source material 2. Animation wise they are always top notch 3. Expectations are always top notch for this. 4. The source material while being done years ago is still incomplete and they basically only have one more full season to go after this before they are caught up. Once they catch up they are stuck Unlike weekly shounen shows like Naruto, One Piece, Bleach etc those were always plagued by filler content. The manga for those did come out on a weekly basis but eventually the anime caught up and you will have whole seasons of filler to kill time. JoJo has no filler. You'll get one recap episode in the middle of the season but that's about it One Piece is still part of the old anime formula. Meanwhile shows like My Hero Academia, Jujutsu Kaisen all are willing to take their time. JoJo does the same thing. When they come back you usually get 6 months worth of content but they disappear for a year after to keep the quality high

Hirohiko Araki takes influence from Roman architecture in some of his Jojo designs and tons of detailed western fashion, and that takes more time to draw.

The very popular Black Clover anime, which was a week to week series just ended, and they were practically all caught up with the manga. And this was after production being halted for two months due to COVID, and a twenty episode filler arc. And then you look at My Hero Academia, which is seasonal, and is a good 100 chapters or so behind the manga. Being seasonal actively prevents it from getting close to the manga, so the only filler episodes are the network mandated premieres, and at worst, those episodes have been a lot of fun.

Yea, the whole thing just takes time and usually when they come out with another anime series it is tough notch animation The fans are willing to wait because it always delivers and each part has somehow been better than the last. Like the most cartoony JoJo has looked was Diamond is Unbreakable and that was still top notch animation

I agree Season format works best and you can structure anime out so when one ends, the other is starting up. Sadly, The Promised Neverland was supposed to be a really good lead in from winter anime to the spring anime with My Hero Academia but TPN disappointed. However, Attack on Titan did not and same with Jujutsu Kaisen My Hero Academia is about to dominate Spring/Summer and usually JoJo premiers in October which will hold down the Fall/Winter. These approaches are better and allow for more time Of course the flip side is the more time off, the more things can be meddled with. TPN and Tokyo Ghoul are examples of that

Looking forward to it.
Recently watched Phantom Blood and Fighting Tendencies on Netflix UK and now currently watching Stardust Crusaders.
Just hope Diamond is Unbreakable and Golden Wind find their way on there at somepoint.
