Always ready for more JoJo! And this brings us closer to Part 7, which, from what I can understand, the plot can be boiled down to "In the 1860s, the President Of The United States organizes a cross country horse race that is actually a plot to collect the body of Jesus Christ" And I'm just like, Yes. Give it to me, as soon as humanly possible. ...Can we fast forward to this? This sounds nuts even by JoJo standards.

Bruh, Funny Valentine might be one of the most trollish villains not just in Jojo, but comics and manga period. Just cheat code after cheat code.

Steel Ball Run's cool, but Jolyne Kujoh is a lot more than an also-ran. Don't look past her.

Steel Ball Run's cool, but Jolyne Kujoh is a lot more than an also-ran. Don't look past her. Something that really bothered me when Stone Ocean was officially announced, was the mass of people basically wanting Steel Ball Run already. And I'm sure if they got it right away, they'd just be demanding Jojolion. Fandom greed pisses me off. Looking forward to this though. Jojo was my big discovery in lockdown last year, watching Phantom Blood/Battle Tendency/Stardust Crusaders on Netflix, and the rest on Crunchyroll. So this is the first "new" one since becoming a fan of it. Still want to read the Manga at some point, too.

I mean, it happens, JoJo's different parts each have their own flair, so I get why people would have their favorites they wanted to see. Not like I wanted them to skip things, but I've been wanting to see Stone Ocean since Stardust Crusaders ended, even if I did love seeing part 4 and 5 excel and all of the greatness in those parts. I just really dig Jolyne and her crew.

And it has the most bonkers finale yet (and without which SBR wouldn't make sense, so I don't know why "fans" want to skip this one over).

Stone Ocean wasnt popular in the 90s but I assume because series with female protagonists werent a thing then outside of Sailor Moon when it comes to mainstream series.

Well, Stone Ocean wasn't, in fact, popular in the 90s. But it's not because of a female protagonist. More like... because it begun in January 1st 2000

I mean without going too crazy into spoilers for people that don't know and want the surprise, for some of them it makes the journey feel "empty" but I get it I didn't care for it when I first read it by mistake either but it makes sense

Part 8's last chapter has been released, and with it this news: Also a spinoff manga is coming that's apparently about Josuke and Hol Horse?

Wondering if it's a plausible theory Jojo Lands is influenced from Justice's "New Lands", but maybe that's the fan in me talking.

Assuming it is going be regular Jo Jo episodes we should see at least a 35 episode season
So this is going to be 3 parts released most likely
