Apparently, my great-grandmother had a saying "Spank your children everyday, even if you don't know what they did. They know what they did"

Something like 90% of births are accompanied by unexpected excrement

If way more than the majority of births are accompanied by excrement, how can it be considered unexpected?

I meant it was unexpected that I didn't know

Congrats! As for advice, and I don't have kids, but here goes-play the music YOU like around him, that way he'll grow up and appreciate it and you won't have to buy that Kidz Bop crap

Congrats! Yeah, birth is a messy wonder, isn't it?
Some advice? Start stocking up on diapers. Even if you have some, buy some more.

Always keep extra onsies around too. Baby spittle stinks. Never burp without a towel.. and yes, that IS spitup in your hair. Geez T.I.T. You're slow on the annoucnement thread, had one going elsewhere since the myspace bulletin went out Congrats again !

Thanks for the well wishes. Wolfie your sig is the best ever.
As for the bloodypoo mess, basically my wife tells me there was no way and the push part actually felt like she was pooing him out.
Now as this is all going on there is a pad underneath her separating her from the bed and well every time she poo'd during a contraction there was some blood which when she rested from the contraction the whole mess mixed together into some bloody fecal smorgasbord. It looked like the aftermath of a GG Allin concert.
I guess I just wasn't expecting what I saw, and my hats off to the nurses and doctors who didn't think twice about it.
Anyway thanks again, the boy is healthy and I got a week of bonding before I go back to work.
Wolfie the sig is priceless.
