...We gotta talk about him at some point, because his dire WrestleMania record has really slipped under the radar. He's now sitting on 0-7-0 after Apollo Crews pulled a Dabba-Kato out of the back passage and won the IC Championship.
1. WM29 - Lost to Team Hell No 2. WM30 - Lost Andre Battle Royal 3. WM31 - Lost Fatal 4-Way tag to Cesaro/Kidd (pre-show) 4. WM31 - Lost Andre Battle Royal (pre-show) 5. WM32 - Lost to League Of Nations 6. WM34 - Lost Triple Threat tag to Bludgeon Brothers 7. WM37 - Lost to Crews
In fact, none of the guys in The New Day have crash-hot records. Woods is now 0-4-0, while Kingston is on a miserly 2-10-0, one of which, albeit one of the great WM wins of all time, is also the only WM win for a New Day member within the lifespan of the group.

It's nearly as disappointing as Billie falling to 1-1.

I don't think I'll ever get over League of Nations beating them right before splitting up.
Actually looking at that list several oponents retired or left shortly afterwards. Poor Crews.

It's years later and I still don't understand why League of Nations beat them at the peak of their popularity, and then split up almost right afterwards. Entirely pointless but also classic WWE at the same time.
The fact New Day are as overpushed as they've been but never win outside of the big Kofi one at Mania also says a lot about how meaningless WWE booking can feel...

A lot of big names seem to have terrible records at 'Mania. I guess that's part of why Undertaker's record is so touted, huh.

I do wonder if any of the wrestlers with poor Mania records are just as bothered about the losses as I am (like with Asuka's), or if they're just excited to be performing at the event itself regardless.
Never seen anything in past interviews or podcasts regarding that topic really.

Goddamn that triple threat tag suuuucked. Could've easily torn the house down and instead it was a four minute squash where the team nobody cared about won effortlessly. Especially baffling when the whole storyline was the Usos wanting their Mania moment.

Vince: Because I wanted to transfer the heat to Austin, Foley and HBK to have a WRESTLEMANIA MOMENT and not put over my current talent. It's about MOMENTS, goddammit.

New Day deserves better.
With that said in a weird way it's balance. They've got horrible WM records but their other accolades and stats are amazing. Everybody has a fault. I imagine that next year they'll get wins, hopefully.

Everything they do with Big E is a disappointment to me anyway. This dude should have legit been pushed like this generations Hogan, and they didn't go that route.
